I am having trouble with the jigsaw puzzle (I think I have just finished living room in Chapt 1. there is 1 piece in the center of the box that doesn't move & you have to fit all the pieces around it? well, it's not working for me, I can get the pieces all around the edge of box but they are sitting on top of the 1 unmoveable piece.
Thanks for the help

Mome

Mome, it's been awhile since I played. If no one has an answer, I'll load it up when I get home from work to see if I can't jar my memory.

Is this the circular jigsaw? If so, match from the inside out. So the middle piece is unmoveable but turn the one right next to it a little at a time until it locks in place. If I recall correctly, you need to release the mouse button each time to see if it locks in that position.

Thank you Ana & Misa, no it's not the circular jigsaw. It's in a 'box', the pieces are brown, tan & whitesh, the unmoveable piece is brown & sort of in the upper middle.

Thanks

Sylvia

Hi Mome,

You can turn the pieces to fit. Trying to recall if this can be done by left or right-clicking... brain's not working at the moment. lol But they can definitely be turned.

Hi Rushes, I got it done!! I was trying to fit the pieces around the edges. When I went back I fitted the pieces to the 1 that would not move-duh.

Thanks for all the help.

Sylvia

The pieces around the edge that you have placed are evidently not in the correct position. If you turn them, you can change the positions till all the pieces fit together.

Nevermind, I see you just got it. smile

Yes, unfortunately there is a timer and BF has stated they will not be patching to eliminate.

The timer is not really a problem. Each level up gives you an extra five minutes, and as you learn how the different puzzles work they will tend to take less time next time. I am usually hopeless on timed sequences, but even the first time playing I only needed to repeat 2 or 3 levels. When you run out of time on a level, you start that level again, not right back at the beginning. It's a fun game.

I didn't have a problem with the timer either. I had to replay several levels but the replay goes fast because you have already figured out the puzzles. I usually start with the ones that gave me the most trouble to see if I will have enough time left. Never had a problem on the second time through. You can also go to the practice room and get used to certain puzzles since they will reappear.
