downloading it now and purchasing it. I played the demo at fenemore games and loved it. More than just a hidden object game, I enjoy the interaction with the objects, like having to open a cupboard to get an item.

Thanks BFG Guy for another great game.

I have a question though, normally BFG server downloads quickly, however today it is taking a long time to download the game. Anyone else noticing this?

Sherryah, I just downloaded and it did not take very long, the usual 4-5 minutes for me.

Well I just hope it downloads for you, no matter how long it takes, as long as you can get it, that's what matters. I always feel bad when people can't ever download the games.Especially if its a good one.

I played the demo. The game was fun. Trouble is it's only like 36 MB and the graphics only so-so. I anticipate a short game. I'll wait and see what others say.

I downloaded this A.M. before I left for work and had no problems. When I download and it seems to be going too slow, I close it and try again... not sure why but it usually helps.

I can't wait to get home to play it. smile

Thanks NyLady, I will try that the next time I get a slow download.

Your right Dumas, although the game is fun it is rather short. I Finished it between 8 and 9 hours of straight playing.
however I found all the puzzles fun, especially the gears and putting together objects that needed repaired. The jeweled locks that need interlocking was easy for me also. I would buy it again even though on the short side in my opinion. Great story line with 2 options at the end, of course I choose the happy ending one. If anyone chooses the other let us know how it turns out.

I also just finished it with the happy ending. The game took about 10-12 hours to complete. I found it to be a good story line, not hard a bit challenging in some cases, I had to use a hint twice and there is no limited timer to deal with. Its definately a HOG. I considered the grafics to be mid line and not annoying. All objects were fairly easy to identify and find.
I also think the game is replayable. There are some side games involved in finding objects and solving puzzles. Not very many types of puzzles to solve but pleasant.

I liked this one too even though it's a bit short and pretty easy. In fact, I've played it twice already. I chose the selfish ending to see what happens.
Click to reveal..
Jane lives a long and healthy life, but not very happy because she knows the spirits are waiting on her. Finally it's her time to take her place as a spirit in the castle for eternity. I couldn't leave poor Jane trapped in the castle, so I played through again to see the other ending.
I liked the unselfish option much better.

thanks Scarlet for trying out the other ending, now I won't have to wonder what would have happened. I don't think I have ever replayed the same game twice. Sad waste of money I know.

You should try replaying...sometimes it's better the second time around. I get so fixated on the ending (especially the mystery themes)that I forget to enjoy the little things along the way.

Sorry sorry sorry. blush I knew I should have used spoiler tags, but my brain went dead right before I hit the submit button.

I was surprised to see that it only took 3hr and 13 min to play this game. It was a fairly easy game and I played it over a few days, but I did enjoy it. I even read everything, I didn't speed through it at all.

Most of these games are worth the 6.99 we pay, but to charge 19.99 for something that only last 3 hours at best, is way too much.

Gracious Flo, that is fast. Are you generally a quick player?

I really can't believe it was only 3 hours and 13 minutes, I think I'll play it again and see what time comes up. I do know it was an easy game, it didn't take long to clear the rooms or go through the puzzles. I was expecting to be at least 5 hours, but maybe it was just too easy.

I'm clocking in at around 4 something hours so far (over the span of a few days and I did read the dialogue) and I know I'm near the end. It's a little on the short side but IMHO, I still think it's "worth" $19.99 at full price.

I think we need to keep things in perspective in that us club members are used to the $6.99 price tag. I've bought plenty of adventure games before that were also short but paid $19.99+ (most recently Art of Murder). If I'm entertained for 4+ hours, then it's worth it to me. Still cheaper than going to see two movies. smile

You're right Misa, I am spoiled, I can remember paying a lot of money for Adventure games that were just as short.
