PATSY, it was supposed to be shipping today from Her Interactive preorders, not retail pre orders. I wonder if he is shipping the DVD cases or the retail box. I ordered from Her because they are usually the only way to get the DVD cases.

It is not a given conclusion.

In the past, publishers that sells their own games have delivered their games to those that preordered from them directly before any other online or brick-mortar stores.

This is still true for all other publishers. We, who have experienced and watched the games release, publishing and delivery and have noted these.
So this came as a surprise even to me.

Hey Dave! Me?? Complaining? Of course not, just caught me by surprise. I always order from Her, because otherwise I get a boxed version and I am running out of room. Had I known that you and Nancy are good friends and would ship at the same time both DVD cases, I would probably be dancing on the ceiling now. As it is, I don't think even HI shipped my preorder. <sigh>

Hi all, I pre-ordered the game and just received an e-mail that it shipped today (7--01-08) Probably won't get here until after the 4th. Guess I'll just have to wait, a chance to get caught up on my HOGS.

Was to be? Did they change it? I looked on the HER site and I can't seem to find an exact date for when it will hit retail shelves. I tend to get my Nancy games from a local store to avoid shipping costs. Of course, when I need to order a game online, I go to Interact first.

According to Her Interactive's Newsletter, the preorders were on their site for a July 1st shipping only. Retail Stores and downloads were to be on the 7th. That isn't the way it worked out, so I don't know if they changed their mind or not. I can only suggest checking their site daily to see if it's up if you are anxious. Otherwise, my guess is the 7th.

Thanks, Ana! Can't say I'm biting my fingernails or anything but I do like to play the Nancy games as soon as they are released. I'll keep checking the site.

I can't wait either. I was hoping it would be here for the long weekend but of course the UPS tracking says Monday.

Mine came today. I am only two states away from Her Interactive, and I was one of the lucky people whose names were randomly drawn to have their games shipped two days ago. I have to work the Fourth of July, though, and tomorrow and Saturday, so I won't have much time to play. But I've loaded it up now with the hope that I can get a little playing time in here and there.
