Platformers get your fingers ready. Alex Gordon has finally made it to Bigfish. For all you platform game lovers out there, this is a great game!!

It is very similar in graphics to Supercow and there are 5 worlds. There are timed bonus levels where you have to collect treasure etc but even if you can't do it in the time available it lets you continue.

I'm in the third world and I haven't had to do a boss level which is a blessing! You have to collect 3 stars per level, jump on bad guys, and find secret areas. The purpose of the game is to find the pieces of an amulet to give to the monkey that stole your sister so you can get her back.

I bought this game after playing the demo for about 10 minutes.

It's just too bad that there aren't that many of these kind of games out there.......

I'll fess' up, I'm a platform fan; thoroughly enjoyed Sonic Hedgehog and Jazz Jackrabbit. If they're just for kids, then I'm just one big kid that had fun.

I have found that since I started playing purely adventure games on my PC that I'm just not as interested in playing with my consoles anymore. At least playing on my laptop I can watch TV at the same time. I used to love console games like Spyro and even the kids cartoony games like Robots and Scooby Doo.

Now though with Bigfish games coming out with the odd platformer I'm able to assuage my platform interest and watch TV at the same time....LOL

jldcat I agree with you. I bought this game after playing about 10 min myself. I love platform games like this, but there just aren't enough of them. This really is a good one. Enjoy, I sure am.

I'm just hoping that they are planning a third Turtle Odyssey....(sigh) I can only hope.......

BTW what is up with those bloody birds dropping bombs on me in Alex Gordon? Why couldn't they have given him a gun????? Just reiterates my view on birds. LOL

Teddo, a platformer involves lots of jumping from one area to another and on things and off things. Here is a Wiki article that explains all about it. puppy
