I downloaded some saves for Culpa Innata from another site but can’t get them to work. I’ve put both files with the save041.sav and the sav041.nif extensions in the correct folder (the Culpa Innata/data/saved games) and replaced the original saves with the same name. But when I try to open the save, it will not recognize that it is there. Does anyone have any advice on how to make saves work for Culpa Innata? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi aln,

Try re-saving the files to your saved folder, but do not replace any of your existing files. Renumber your two new files so that they are sequentially last. Then load your game as usual and they should be there. luck

I tried it and renamed as save049 (last is 48) and it doesn't show up in the saved games now because there are only 48 available slots, it looks like.

What I do when there is a limited number of slots is to create a new folder inside the save folder called sparesaves1 (or anything else) and put all but the first game in there, then I have plenty of "new" slots and I don't loose any saved game. You may try this before copying the downloaded saves.

Thanks everyone. I finally decided that it was easier to just try to get through the puzzle instead of messing with the save. I'm almost done with the game now by getting through it on my own so am glad for that. Thanks for the help, though!
