Hello, Sorry to be replying to this older thread about Aurora, but I'm having a big problem moving past a certain point in this game and fear I will need a saved game to bypass this puzzle. The puzzle I can't get past is the one where the lenses are created in the laboratory to fool the eye scanner in the Area 51 facility. Each time I try to go through the process of creating the lenses, the game gives me an error about not being able to link the frames properly, and thus the puzzle can't be completed. Would some kind soul happen to have a saved game past this point? I sure hope so, as this game has been a PITA just to get to this point, and I've put enough blood/sweat/tears in getting this far, that I'd like to see it to its conclusion if I could, heh. Thanks in advance!

Hi lakerz, There are a bunch of saves HERE, hopefully you'll find one that will be close to where you need to be.

Hi Rushes, That's very kind of you to respond with that link to the saved games for Aurora. I actually tried loading some of those saves to see, but the game responded with a whole bunch of error messages. I think the saved games on that website are for the German language version (or Italian). So when the game is loading the inventory, it is expecting English but the saved game is loading inventory in German which causes the problem. I don't know, maybe I can try to go in with a text editor and see if I can modify the file to reflect inventory objects in English. I haven't tried that yet, heh. Thanks again though for trying to help me out with this problem.

You're welcome. A shame that the saves aren't working for you, though. I don't think very many people got around to playing this game, due to its horrendous bugginess. If anyone here did play and has kept their saves, hopefully they'll let us know. Edit: lakerz, I just had a batch of saves for this game sent to me. Please PM me your e-mail addy (or update your public e-mail box in your profile) and I'll forward them straight on to you.

Got it, thanks. The saves are on their way. Good luck, and enjoy the rest of the game (hopefully!).
