Just curious as an informal poll: 1) Do you have a DVD player on your computer system? (yes, no, don't know) 2) how fast is you rnet connection (dial-up, 1Mbps, 3mpbs, broadband but don't know?) By the way, if you don't know your connection speed you can go to Speakeasy speed test to find out. Curious to know your results. On qwest dsl I am getting 1.5mb download and about 700kb upload. If you do not know if you have a CD or DVD go to Start=> My Computer You should see it listed as CD-RW or DVD-R or DVD-RW or something (the "R" is for Read and the "W" is for write...write means you can record to blank DVDs or CDs) Thanks!

1. Dial-up at 28.8 download though the speed test showed 26; upload showed 80. I think this thread reminds of the race between the tortoise and the hare, but I'm the tortoise that falls asleep.
2. CD-RW and DVD-R

I have one in-tower CD/DVD combo drive and 2 external DVD drives.
My connection is Satellite since we cannot get DSL or Cable here and I average 128kb upload and 700kb download.
Sounds like you have an awesome Qwest DSL connection! Wish I could get one.
You didn't ask but we are limited to how much we may download daily. The packages are 200mb daily, 375mb daily and 400mb daily with the last being $100 month.
Have a fun day, Linda
So many games, so little time.
