I liked the game too. I think I prefer linear games such as this where you have a definite idea of where to go and what to do, rather than ambling aimlessly with a quizzical expression. Nice graphics, some interesting puzzles, and a twist at the end of the game. Available at a great price. I'd recommend it.

that is true .This game would be good for a first timer May be there will be a number 2 Perhaps that the developers meant it to be? I thought about that and they did get rid of stuff you picked up, after it was no longer needed. You could see things but couldn't pick them up until you needed then (meaning that you had to go back there sometime). Actually, I thought it was a good game ...... not "thrilling" like I would expect most gamers want but ... who knows what gamers want? A timed bit? Game Over. Once. That last puzzle with the dilapidated plane had me awake at night. battery needs water, filter needs cleaning but what about GAS? Didn't that dry up too?

Gee whiz, I thought the plane was one of the best parts of the whole game! I thorougly enjoyed it, but believable? Not very, just fun.

Great game! I'm looking forward to a sequel and hopefully the developers would serialize this game like the Nancy Drew series. I like the game for: • $19.99 price tag • Third person perspective game • Crime thriller genre • Female heroine • Linear gameplay • Great graphics and locations

@Smilla
I think you over-reacted to the game! As far as I'm concerned the voice was fine! Hope your mom will enjoy it better than you did although I insist that you have to give it a second chance!
@roll
I totally agree with you.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but I will happily pay a lot more for games that I like as much as I liked this one. I totally agree with roll.

I didn't think the ending was bogus at all. To me it was a very realistic and honest ending, like who knows why a murderer kills some victims and not others? I don't think it calls for a sequel, but I sure would like to see more games with Nicole and maybe even finally get to see her partner! However, she will need a new boss!

I bought this game yesterday, played it for about 20 minutes, and then had to uninstall it as the voice acting and clunky script (at least in the beginning...) infuriated me. Sometimes it's the little things that ruin a game for me.
Bonnet was the worst. At times she sounded like a phone menu operator or a robot, other times she sounded like a 13 year old ditz.
I'm going to pass the game on to my mother, as she plays adventure games purely for the puzzles whereas I get a lot out of the characters and story. How on earth can you judge and comment on a game you played for only 20 minutes? I thought that the voice acting was excellent. What "clunky script"? I presume that you bought the game because of the picture of the "chick" on box cover, right? Smilla, had you played the game a bit more than 20 minutes you would have seen that the "character and story' was what it was all about. The puzzles were inventory based, so if your Mother likes Myst-type puzzles she will be as disappointed as you seem to be. Gee whiz, I thought the plane was one of the best parts of the whole game! I thorougly enjoyed it, but believable? Not very, just fun. Well, yes but ... I liked the game too. I think I prefer linear games such as this where you have a definite idea of where to go and what to do, rather than ambling aimlessly with a quizzical expression. Nice graphics, some interesting puzzles, and a twist at the end of the game. Available at a great price. I'd recommend it. Me too, Rushes. However, people who read Reviews are a little "testy" about buying it. The price is very affordable. I'd recommend it as well.

Hi Mystic Falls, You're "testy" remark about the reviews made me curious to see what was written about this game, so I looked up the GB review. I would personally rate the game a lot higher, definitely an A+ game in my opinion! I didn't find the faults in the game that the reviewer did. Personally, I think it was every bit as good as Still Life! In my game I died twice, but it didn't bother me, I'm an old Sierra Online fan after all.

Sorry for stacking posts. I read several Reviews and they made the game sound like it was just so so. I thought it a lot better than that. I got "game over" once but that didn't bother me as I am in the habit of saving often. Unlimited save spots in a game is what I like.
