When you have your computer configured to run new games, DOS games in DOSBox, Windows 3.1 games in DOSBox, and Windows 95/98 games to run in Virtual PC, so that you can play every adventure game known to man (including some that should be known to no one), and then making sure that you have each and every one of them. Now that's true gaming sickness.

Getting a chuckle out of the blank stares that non-gamer friends and family have after you've just excitedly described your current game to them. (You just know that they're secretly thinking that there must be help for your "condition" somewhere.)

Hearing the beeping sounds from the turrets in Team Fortress 2 even AFTER you stop playing the game.

Stuck in rush hour traffic, no problem....I'll just "portal" home.

Gets withdrawal symptoms when comp has to go to store to be fixed, which recently happened to me, although when away on holiday, I don't even think about it.

I started out with 149 GIGS of space on my C drive and now have less than one. I just got a new E drive with 332 GIGS of space- wonder how long that will last.

Gets annoyed when hubby comes down to my computer room and starts asking questions about game I am playing,although he enjoys watching me, I hate it when he starts making suggestions about how to do things especially when I am following a W/T-which I always do.

Spends more money on games than on clothes LOL
