I have not seen a review of this game (Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice) posted elsewhere yet, so here is one from Adventure Classic Gaming:

Looks like you need to know a bit of Italian to solve a puzzle in this game!

That's the problem with it. You never really feel like you're exploring Venice in the game. You just hop between screenshots of various discrete areas.

I'd prefer something more like a "Quiet Weekend in Venice" type of game, where you could walk around and explore some out of the way places and get more of a feel for being in Venice.

I know it's not meant to be that kind of a game, but the way it is, it's kind of a tease.
