This thread brings back happy memories...I used to play scopa with my Dad when I was a child :summer:

I played that one line but noticed the cards are different and in some cases I didn't know what they were, I will just have to learn to identify the cards. It is great fun...thanks

yes I knew most of the cards but it took me a while to work out the others .Maybe there are some rules on that site will have to take a look

Click on 'help' at top of the page and get the rules of the game.

As a hint:
- Be sure to know the value of the cards. Then you can discard or take a selected card so that you lose or gain points.
- Try to maintain a count value of the cards on the table to be over 10 so that the other gamer will not Scopa.
- I think that certain suits have higher value that others: Coins, cups, sword and lastly sticks.
