I,m stuck on the part where you have to use the recorder above Gurney's statue. Do I have to let the recorder run for a while to get the recording?

Is this a daytime or nighttime visit to the church? You'll be able to use the camcorder and recorder on Gurney during your night visit.

I had a problem with this at first but if you go at night like Rushes said and just hold the recorder up until he says there's defintely something here you should get the recording.
