Dracula 3 is the third part of the DRacula Resurrection and Dracula The Last Sanctuary series. It just came up for preorder on InteractCD if you are looking for it. Ana

I thought this was a great adventure game. Really well done. I liked how, unlike The Lost Crown (which I loved), you didn't have to wander aimlessly, wondering if you found everything. However, I HATE it when games end in a cliffhanger. It seems like the sequel never comes out, or it comes out so long afterwards that you can't even remember the original game. It's so unnecessary, and unsatisfying. If they wanted to make a sequel (a decision they would only make for certain after seeing how successful this game was), they could easily have incorporated Dracula still being alive into that game. Having him show up alive at the end of this game just undercut everything Van Helsing just did. You don't even get time to savor your victory, and there Dracula is again.

dlb, regarding the ending The mere title of the game "Dracula: "Origins" lets you know that it is the beginning tale of Dracula. He had to live, if he would have died it would have made no sense. Ana

I haven't played it yet, don't know how it ends, but it's about Dracula's origins not his ending, so I'm not expecting everything to be nicely tied up at the end. That's what Dracula Last Sanctuary is for (or at least it was until the 3rd game in that series).
Currently Playing: Adventure Game: Broken Age Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

I am a Dracula/Vampire fan..long time, I have even found a Vampire series in paper back books, that has had me reading all summer long...Charlaine Harris, in the Southern Vampire mysteries...there are 8 out now, and I hope more to come...I have been able to find them at a book exchange in town, lots cheaper than new, and they are so popular that I had to go on to amazon.com to find them..along with this Dracular game. ha ha
Anne Rice wrote a whole series of vampire books too, if you're interested. I especially liked Memnoch the Devil.
