how do i load a saved game using windows vista because i dont have a saved games folder

I'm not familiar with Vista, but you could try a file search to find out the location of a particular saved game folder.

I've come across this problem before, in the end I found save games in this folder, I'm sorry but I don't know if it applies to all saved games (may depend on what you're playing).

C\Users\*******\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\TheAdventureCompany\Safecracker\User.

It may be a hidden file and can be found if you know the extension for your game saves, I find mine by searching for the extension.

I used the Safecracked saves as an example.
Asterisks are your user name on your PC.

I've had to change the Properties to untick the Read Only option so I can now see it in the folder tree, it's a bit of a nuisance though.

ok i found the save folder..its in c\user..but when i add the saved game to the save folder nothing happens..it doesnt show up on my saved games list in the game itself..

stephen, make sure that you renumber the saved game that was sent to you so that it appears sequentially last in the folder. i.e. if the last save you currently have is "save_03" (for example), then rename your new save to be "save_04".

but thats just it..the saves arent numbered..as a matter of fact i had 6 saved games and none were listed in the save folder..so i dont know where they are..

i found the outcry folder and within that i found the following folders..bin..data..and save..

Did you follow Rushes about renumbering the saved game to be the last file in that save folder?

thats just it there arent any saved games in the save folder..but yet i have 6 saved games in the 6 slots..so i guess ill number yours save_7..see what happens.

that save folder was empty..even tho when i save a game it gives me the time the game was saved..there are 6 slots to save games in..and all are full so i renamed the save that Mag gave me to save_7.sgs..but it still didnt show up in my saved games..I guess ill never get past this part of the game..

Im losing patience really quickly..and thinking bout giving up on this game..

Have you tried doing a search for save_1.sgs - save_6.sgs? Maybe it'll tell you where the saves actually are.

true it has only 6 save slots..but they are time stamped..ex: 05:00:07
I also did a search and it said no records found..
