Lucky me, my decision is already made, period. Nothing about this game interests me. Sorry about that, but it isn't really a true adventure game in my book. I am guessing that horror fans will very much take to it though so have a great time.
To love is to be happy with!

HERE's the russian teaser and HERE's more details about the game. They say that Sublustrum is a classic adventure game mechanics with high quality innovative and stylish visuals and sound effects, with a plot, discussing the boundaries between dreams and reality. Hope this helps!

Hmmmm...It sounds like a good ol' horror adventure. But I'm tapped for funds right now so I have to wait anyway. Here's to hearing what some other Boomers think of it!

I've been waiting for a game to come along that's thematically similar to Morpheus. This one looks like it might be a contender. That's what I was thinking, too. This has been #1 on my "get list" since it was announced. Not to many quality 1st person horror adventures with no or limited character interaction out there anymore. I'm really happy to see it released in an English version. I thought I was going to have to learn Russian!

Hi Sherryah, And anyone else that I accidentally confused by posting that this game was not an adventure game "in my book" as I thought that would explain that this was strictly my own personal definition of an adventure game. I don't see horror games as being adventure games since getting scared, startled by sounds and atmosphere is not adventure to me. I find it boring. Dark Fall: The Journal which many say was scary was totally boring and at the time I played it (2005) I didn't realize it was supposed to be spooky. Much as I liked Sierra games in the old days, I never played Shivers or Phantasmagoria since they didn't sound like my kind of adventure game even way back then. For me adventure means exploring places and finding out things, not running and hiding from ghostly horrors. I'm just not curious about ghosts, creepy sounds in the dark, and freaking out. So I looked at the screenshots of Outcry and the dark atmosphere just didn't interest me, but I thought it looked great for those gamers who like that kind of story and they would enjoy it. Anyway, I'm sorry that some of you thought there was something wrong with calling it an adventure game, although horror game would actually describe it better, methinks.

Those where great screen shots and I like the dark atmosphere of the game, it should be pretty creepy. I'm not sure if I'm going to jump on the bandwagon for this one yet although I did like Scratches Barrow Hill and Dark Fall as GBC did. for the information on the game Becky and Fobeus. Marie
