Hope someone can help. I have all the runes and lyrics but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to know what order they go in. UHS hints is, for once, no help at all and I don't want to look at a walkthrough because I want to figure it out for myself, not just get the answer. But I'm stuck over this one!

I remember this puzzle but vaguely! Did you take and read the note hidden in the bedstead knob in room 3B? It depicts all 12 lyrical names and symbols. They might possibly be set out in the correct order. I wish my memory of this was fresher.

We found that note, but it was only more of george's ravings, not the names and symbols. Well, we'll go back and check again.

I just had inspiration: Did you examine the monolith in the Cave of Song (found via the barn trapdoor)? I believe that may give you the clues you need.

We were going to look at that next. Hoping for some help from those goggles!

Look at the picture and drawing of the stones in the Cave of Song. He noted the possible order of the lyrics in the monolith.

I must be being dense because I don't understand. I see that the holes are numbered, but I don't see how that relates to the runes and lyrics I have collected.

There are several clues that gives you the runes and the lyrics.
The sequence is seen as Rushes stated at the Cave of Songs. The stone shows the pattern of the puzzle at the end game. It's dark so you need to use the lamp.

Been a while since I was on this board. I'm WW's hubbie btw.
What we are wondering is, how do the runes correlate to the numbers in the stone? In the room of song there are 2 stones, one with the runes and one with a series of holes. George has the hole stone numbered 1-12 but how do you know which rune is which number? We will keep looking, but a nudge in the right direction would be helpful.
