Did any one mention anywhere that Murder in the Abbey is a cartoon?

The link on Becky's announcement for the website showed that it is.

The Adventure Company site has been down all day today, so the webpage link isn't working. But the website link is working fine.

Oops I didn't see that. I probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise. But, since it got here today, I'll give it a go. I"m using it as a treat for myself for finishing up preparing some bookwork.

I missed that too. Glad it was a $20 game, not $30. I hope we enjoy it.

I usually don't like cartoons, but the characters have a way of getting to you. The voices are wonderful. I think I need to be more open to what I like and don't like. Teddo

Got mine today & started it. Don't think I'll be finishing it. Too hard to navigate & too much conversation. Only my opinion.

I totally agree with you Patsy way too much talking and I really have decieded that cartoon games are not for me I also Bought Ghost in the sheet which I probably will start maybe soon Im really not into cartoons

I knew it was a cartoon but I forgot, ordered it and it is on the mail just now, my faulty memory . I tend to order games just after they appear, not the best thing to do if one wants to make sure is the kind of game one enjoys.

Now that the coupon has expired my local Best Buy has Murder in the Abbey in stock.

Don't sell this game short. It does have a lot of dialogue and it is cartoon but if you are one of those that like a good story - the unfolding of events is riveting.

Mag is right, Gamespot gave it a 7, for an adventure game, that is a very good score from them. I believe the music is lovely too.
Mine is still winging its way from Dave.

Isn't this the game that had some of the former Disney artists as developers? And based somewhat on "The Name of the Rose"? I'm looking forward to it!

I usually don't buy cartoon type games, but ordered this this one for the story. I hope I'm not disappointed.

The story is the main thing. I guess when you stop to think about most adventure games are animated. I know Ana Capri wasn't. It was a little disconcerting too. We tend to like the familiar.

I got it. I could haven't waited for the next coupon but I don't know if it will be a month or 6 months. Any way its a few more points on the reward card. A couple more games and I may actually get some money back.

I found out, that it's a cartoon, only after installing the game and was disappointed at once. But after playing for some time I got used to the cartoonish look of the characters and even started to like the brother Leonardo, especially the way he moves his eyebrows. The story is interesting and it's always the main attraction for me. I'm mildly enjoying the game and when I got a little bored, I just switch to my DS Clue Bender Society.

I am playing it now and if you click M for map, the navigation is easy. Of course I am only now in part 2 of the game as long as I get to keep my map I will navigate easy. Very smooth animation and nicely drawn characters even in a cartoon style.

I finished the game last night and liked it very much.
Maybe a little too few puzzles, but a nice story.

There's also a few places where the voices disappear and don't match the subtitles. But I'm sure a patch will be made for that.

I just finished Murder. I was wrong. It had an absorbing story. If I had followed my first inclinations, I would have missed an interesting and engaging game. I didn't even notice it was a cartoon after a while. I guess this goes to show that one shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Same experience as escakacs, it was a pleasant surprise having ordered the game after forgetting it was a cartoon. Short but involving story, not difficult puzzles, apart then the sliding one that I normally do quite well but this one took me sometime to imagine how the whole picture had to look.
