I like to keep a wish list on Interact until I decide what and when to purchase. This way I keep track of the ones I want, but after a few days the wish list disappears headscratch Then I have to do it all over again.

Is this normal practicethink

orchid girl, that question is best asked directly to Dave. Every website has different ways of handling things and maybe he isn't aware that it happens.

I did send him a message for you in the meantime.

Thanks Ana thumbsup

I should have thought of that, but I figured I'd get a quicker answer here. I often have trouble getting on from their link here. smile

Hi Orchid Girl...

The Wish List is something that was built into our site about 10 years ago and I really don't think it's ever worked right. It certainly doesn't function as a proper Wish List where other people can see it and buy you gifts. You're attempting to use it the way it was designed, and honestly you're the first person I know who's ever done so. smile My guess is the problem you're having is cookies related. I don't know however if it's a function of our site or your computer that is causing the cookies to vanish, but it could very well be our site unfortunately. I think the best fix may be a Post-It note on your monitor. smile Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

What I have done is prepare a wish list and print it out and mark off the games I have placed an order for and line through the ones I have decided against and as Dave has said the problem does involve cookies.

It certainly is a cookie issue.
I actually never log out from the site, but sometimes CCleaner delete my cookie for it even though it's told not to.
Don't know why - and every time the wishlist has gone.

I do like to have it though, so I usually copy/mark all the games on the list to a txt file, and then I just search for and add each one again.
Actually I love to just go there every now and again and search through ALL adventure games and go nuts adding more to the list, lol laugh

Oh and yes... I add games I plan to buy at one time.
Which I actually do quite often... always 3 or more at a time smile

I sometimes wonder if all of our recommending InteractCD to newcomers etc. isn't putting too much of a workload on poor Dave smile
