I feel a leading astray moment coming on...

My day is complete then.

I have to be honest Ana. My hubby holds his breath when I go to Gameboomers and see a new game your telling us about. Seldom do I not buy the game and he knows its too late I have memorized the credit card number.

Just started playing the demo. Great game, but no random clicking and has a timer. To bad I really like this game. Thanks

OH NO! BFG guy not another timer.

Downloaded and will check it out!

I'm playing the tryal and I like it. It's a good traditional HOG with the puzzles between the scenes. I don't know how many scenes I need to finish for the given time of 45'. Now I'm stuck in the swamp puzzle. I need to cross the swamp, jumping from the tufts of grass, some of them are the sinkholes. It's not clear in what direction to move or where to start. I am going to wait for somebody to start playing and help me here. If I skip the puzzle I'll lose 10' of the time.

Should I start a help thread? Does it look like one that will need it?

What kind of mini puzzles are there?

The 2 other mini puzzles were easy, one - to put the right words, and another - Hanoy tower. It seems likely, the farther you'll go in the game, the more difficult the puzzles become.

You can skip most, if not all the puzzles in the game.

Ana, You wanted to know what we think of MYSTERY CHRONICLES MURDER AMONG FRIENDS? Well personally even with the dreaded timer I love the game!

What a great plot for a murder who done it story. The sound effects remind me of ravenhurst. The only complaint I have is I wish there was an option to lighten the screen like in Sherlock Holmes mystery of persian carpet. Sometimes I have had to use a hint because they are in a dark area.

I also kept imagining what it would have been like to have voices like the game mentioned. Anyway even with the timer it seems thus far to be a generous amount of time.

I am now in Day 2. Just dropped by to give my kudos to BFG Guy for another winner of a game.

Also to let you know the hints are unlimited just needs to recharge.

Also I love the new toolbar! I really can't think of anyway to improve on it. It seems to be perfection. Thanks again BFG Guy.

Ana, I just downloaded, then purchased the game. I love it. The HOG part is good, with rechargeable hints, and the puzzles aren't all the same old same old.
Having said that, the timer becomes a pain later on in the game, as the objects get harder to find, and the puzzles more difficult.
It is a great game, but would be better having a relaxed mode, as the timer begins to drive you nuts.

What a wonderful surprise from BFG guy. I love this game! If you don't skip any puzzles - for which you lose 10 minutes - the timer is generous.

The mini-games are fun and not too difficult. Most are familiar, but tie in well with the storyline. Some are new and fun to play.

The game is short, about 3-4 hours, but I recommend it. If you're a game club member, it is definitely worth the price.

You may not need a help thread Ana, because the game is not frustrating and overly difficult.

Thanks BFG for helping to make our days brighter.

Well I am frustrated because I just lost 10 minutes off the timer because of a swamp puzzle that I never could understand.

I sure hope the gamer producer will kill the timer by making it an option. Even though I got to another Day 3 the timer still deducts the penalty for not solving the puzzle. Margie, when you say we can skip any puzzle ouch! ten minutes off of timer really hurts.

I think I must have gone to the site as they were putting this one up. I went in at 6:15 a.m. to see what tomorrow's game was and there wasn't any.... figured I was too early.

Glad there is a HOG for the weekend. I love the way BFG's plans the best ones for the weekend. My boss appreciates it too because I don't call in sick to stay home and play it.

Thanks for the great reviews of the game... I'll try it as soon as I get home.

Please remember, if you want timers optional in games, writing to the developers and publishers is the way to do it. If they don't know, it will never change.

Sorry Sherryah, I forgot that detail It slipped my mind. I think that even with a 10 minute penalty there was enough time to get everything done. I've only played the demo so far, I'll have to finish when I get a chance.

Downloading finally, can hardly more from overgymming. Do I have to find a noodle ? Can it be cake instead ?

And I couldn't possibly use the noodle on Margie. There would be a lynching here if I chased her away.

Downloaded and bought this game. Like it very much. Very clear graphics, no need to fear the timer, there seems to be plenty of time to finish each section. Different mini games, although I don't do well with the minesweeper type of game. Am stuck in the marsh right now. Keep getting dragged into the bog. But there is also a skip puzzle feature which is nice too. Way to go BigFish, another nice game!!

Anybody knows how to solve the swamp puzzle? Just curious.

I hate the swamp bog puzzle. I had to restart Day 2 because when 10 minutes are removed from the timer, it doesn't leave you very much time on the clock to finish the Day. When your timer is up you are forced to start the Day over.

The good part is the timer is reset again, the bad part is the puzzle you skipped you will have to face again or lose 10 minutes again off the timer. Why ruin a great game like this is beyond my comprehension.

Please can someone explain how to win the swamp puzzle. Margie we need your expertise on these mini games especially. Anxiously awaiting your walkthru.
