Thanks MaG and TLC, I had seen the map but it disappeared ! I found a save at the beginning of the Desert and since I knew all the steps it didn't take long to go back. This time I kept the map but I think the rest of the letter disappeared again.

Now I am stuck with the sound puzzle, I'll see if tomorrow my ears work better. think

MaG,
May I also have the saved game after the sound puzzle? I am tone deaf but I though I might have been able to do this one because the sounds are quite different but after setting the possible first sound the extra sounds interfere in my brain.

duh

By the way, I know how my map disappeared and I think it could happen to somebody else fool enough to do the same thing I did (somebody was at the door at that moment). If when reading the letter in the typewriter one reads the letter, see the map but doesn't open it, planning to open it later, it disappears for good, at least in my game.

mcc,

Thanks for telling us about the map part.

You can turn off the sound of the other 2 strings at level 2. Just push those levers of the sound you don't want up. The one you want tested should have it down (on position). That is how I did it,

Also, you can try these:
2nd level flower: adjust left to right: 2 4 5. Then check the flower.
4th level flower: left to right to 1 2 3. Then check the flower.

Try it just for the experience. The saved game is sent.

I'm tone deaf also so I can't get the 2nd level flower open I tryed the 2 4 5 but no good.Is the arrow position crucial? There is 3 positions that look like its to the right to me.

Yes the arrow position is the first one you should adjust because it is important.

I finished the game, thanks again MaG.

The brother apparently was a man when at the same time he was a child. This happens in many families, I know, but the whole time it looks like they were brothers close in age. Maybe I got this last part wrong.

mcc,

Glad you finished.

Why don't you post at Discussion forum so that the other gamers that finished the game can have input also.

You have to back away from the cabinet and look to the right near the boulder to find the metal rod. This is confusing as there is a rod near the cabinet door which cannot be taken.

Tulip,

You can either overwrite or take your save 2 out of the save folder, if you want to keep yours. wave

Hi everyone,
I've just started the time travel and can't get the power cell in the past. It's supposed to be on the floor left of the table in the office and there is nothing. I checked everywhere in the office. The time changed back to the present, the wt says I can use the time key to change it back to the past. After doing this I got somwhere else, where there is just empty room with open windows instead of the office. I repeated everything from the save and didn't find the cell again. What could be wrong? headscratch
