I got that too, and backed straight out of it. I'm not familiar with the website to allow it to download programs to my computer.

I'm still very much looking forward to playing the game in its entirety when it's released.

its a big demo i think about 410 mb they all seem to be enormus these days and nerly as big as some games
its taking about 2hrs and i still have another 50 minute to go i hope it doesn't break down again

stoppd again in the middle for over 1/2 hour.what's matter with it?

I'll try to find some additional places to upload the demo to. I'm afraid I can't host it on my own server, because my bandwidth can't handle a file size that large.

Does anyone have any ideas for places that host huge files?

my setup downlds demos with no truble 1 0f nearly 700 mb and one of ovr 900mb
something wrong here -don't understand how soeme here succeeded?

not worth trying 4th time i think?

Hey guys, with the ones that are having problems with downloading you could try using "Free Download Manager", unless you are already using a different download manager that you are happy with. It integrates quite well with IE, Firefox and Opera.
This is what I use all the time and it works great. Just look up "Free download manager" on google, it should be the first entry.

I downloaded the file but haven't started playing yet. But I too noticed the "download manager". I clicked no thanks which immediately took me to a public server...so you can download without installing this "download manager".

runs ok for me got my hands free .I know this may be silly but how do you get to your inventory

Dragon -- I haven't played the demo, but good things to try are right-clicking or bringing the cursor down all the way to the bottom of the screen or bringing the cursor all the way up to the top of the screen.

Dragon, if I remember correctly you access the inventory hitting Tab on the keyboard.
There is a readme file in the download, explaining all the options.

I have Vista and really wanted to try the demo however when I tried to download it they are forcing you to put the IGN download manager on my system. Since I don't use IGN for anything else I don't want to do this. Is there somewhere else I can trust that we can download the game from? Sounds like a fun game. Is there voices in the demo?

today using same GB link, it downlaoded fine-yesterday 6 times stoppd 1/2 way.i wander why?
i had to wait in line for 28 minutes and then the d-l took 2 hours using dsl but i've just statrd it ok.

my poor bank card .I have 2 pre ordered and one in the post and I am still spending .Wait till the months statement comes in I will have to lock myself in the box room with the computor .....Such a shame .

As it turned out, as soon as I posted I got it. I finished the demo.

No problems downloading the demo, but I can't control my mouse, it is very jerky and all over the place. Anyone else have this problem?

What are your computer specs? This game requires a fairly good video card to run. It might be that your card can't support the graphics, hence the jerkiness.

Is this what you need? AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.21 GHz, XP Home, ATI Radeon 9550 with up to date driver, 1.50 GB RAM.

Yes, it sounds like your system might be a bit too slow to play Stonewall Penitentiary reliably. I am working to improve the game's speed so that it will run on more computers, though, so keep your fingers crossed!
