I am at at the place in the game where I have made the plant, but when I go to where the chest is and the massive vine covering the chest and use the plant on the massive vine. It doesn't eat all the vine, and am unable to get to the chest so I can use the knife that has the key with the chest. Oh boy---what didn't I do? that the plant won't eat all the massive vine?? I thought I did all that the walk through told me to do in regard to making the plant. Please help. Not a save, I want to be able to do it myself. ok? Beverly in Florida.

Can you check the name of that mutant plant?
It should be mobile mutant plant eating plant.
If not make a new one mutant again.
It should eat only the massive vine covering the chest.

The name of the plant is just meat eating plant. I used the 2 different seeds on the flower box, meat eating plant seeds, and purple plant seeds. Not right I guess? Hmmmm---I will go back to my saved game and try again. It has got to be something very simple that I am over looking. Beverly in Florida.

It was something very simple, but what it was I don't know. But the second time I placed the seeds in the flower box, voila "a mobile mutant plant eating plant. Hurrah!! I am off to Calcutta I think.

I am having a problem again!! I am now on Chapter V11, and in the hanger playing as Amanda (who sounds just like Nancy Drew BTW). and I need to switch off the lights. I have used the rifle on three of the lamps, but am having trouble getting Amanda over to where the last two lamps are. I just can't find a way that she will go. Need a good hint. As for the lamps, I can barely remember this part but I do know that I moved her around a lot. One of the lamps is dark.
My saved game for this chapter is that balloon thingie part.
The next one is at the end of the next chapter.

Thanks MaG---I will just keep moving her around, and trying the rifle with those lamps. She keeps saying "I can't do it" or something like that. Gotta be a way of moving her closer to where those lamps are??? Hmmmm.

maybe I missed a trigger point somewhere ... also, in the loading area I didn't find a chute ... just used the elevator ... maybe that was it ???

I haven't played it either. As Rushes said, we'll have to wait for help.

Been awhile since I played, though the game is still on the computer. If you are in the area where you grow the plant the chest is a click or to to the right of the screen; I think just outside of the growing area.

If noone else helps you better than this you can send me a save and I'll check it out for you.

Exit the lab where you made the mutant plant, go to the right at the very end and see the vine covered chest.
