I was wondering approximately how long Dracula Origins and Limbo of the Lost are and if they are “slow moving.” I’m playing The Lost Crown right now and am losing patience with it. (I have very little patience right now. ) I prefer games that the dialog can be read and skipped instead of having to listen to every word and wondered if you can do this on either Dracula Origins or Limbo of the Lost. Also, is there a lot of dialog or a lot of time spent walking from one location to the next (I prefer games that are first person or where the character will run)? I would really like to play both of these by Halloweentime but am not sure I will have time or when I should start them. Any advice on their length would be appreciated. Thanks and have a great weekend!

I didn't find Dracula Origin to be all that slow. If I remember right, double-clicking an exit would take you to the next screen -- or maybe it made him run. But it didn't take all that long to move around. For me Dracula Origin was medium in length compared to most current adventure games. It may be on the short side if you're a fast player.

I thought Limbo of the Lost was very slow moving. The guy just would not run and he walked very slowly. There was also a lot of moving back and forth between locations, searching for inventory and triggers to cause options to come available. I wouldn't recommend playing it without a walkthrough because it can be very tedious just walking around, let alone looking for something you may have forgotten to pick up.

Thanks! I will probably start with Dracula and see how it goes. Is there a lot of dialog on either and can you skip listening to it? (I hope :))

I don't know about Limbo -- yes, you can skip dialogs in Dracula. As I recall, left-clicking skips through each individual dialog, and hitting the Escape key skips through the entire conversation (I wouldn't advise this, as you'll miss some of the plot, but you can do it if you like, and even go back and read the dialog later in the "Dialogs" section of the Notebook).

You've got to play Dracula Origin. It is a good game.
