NOt sure what you mean Barry. This is a full version game. It is a fan made game not a commercial game, I think this is it. Just post in Hints if you need help, not sure about a walkthrough coming out.

All the dialogue is in German with English subs Ana. What I was inquiring about is whether a full English version will be made available.

Ah well. In that topic tho they said its not english voices which i would be disapointed in as i dont want to read what ppl are saying.

The download file size (697 Megabytes) may be daunting but it is well worth the effort. Anyone who played the original Broken Sword games must get this one. Those still with a dial-up connection could perhaps ask a friend on Gameboomers to copy the game to a CD.

I played it, almost non-stop for 2 "days" (about 15 hours) and was absolutely enthralled. I didn't need even one hint and that is saying something for me who always prints off MaG's walkthrough before I begin any game.

Forget worrying about the German language, I don't speak it either, just read the English sub titles. George is still George.

The story is great, makes me feel like playing the original BS2 again.

Just finished the game and thought it was great! Has anyone brought up the "bonus" at the end? It's all in German so don't really know what it's about.

Have a look at the "Links page - http://www.brokensword25.com/news/links.htm - there are some superb fan-made games up for grabs. I'm planning to give "Dirty Split" a try.

Hi Bristol, I too logged in to get the bonus in the end - I think it consisted of 'bits & pieces' i.e. music, artwork etc that you could download? - I've tried a couple of things but haven't got round to looking yet to see whether that's the case!

Some of these "fan made" really are SO good !!
They can knock the spots off many a "paid good money for it" game

And I'm really, really hoping that Simon 4 will eventually become available with some kind of "English" speech or text.

English is done for simon 4 Mad cos i have it bought from NL by a mate there awhile ago now.

Did anyone notice a few things in the inventory that you didn't use?

Mostly when you no longer needed the item it disappeared but at the end I still had the needle and the York United sweater that I never needed.
