aln, these are more like good storyline games about spooky subjects but I would not really consider them spooky or scary. I would invest in one of The Last Half of Darkness games for a real scary experience. Ana

Yes ..Yes ..Ana is SOOO right !!! I forgot to mention the Last half Of darkness games.. Only because you didn't mention them as one of the three games you are going to play... But the Last half of darkness "Spirits eye" Is by far the scariest game I ever played...

Out of those three I'd suggest Dracula 3, aln. It's an atmospheric and tense game.
Dracula Origin is my personal favourite, but it isn't scary.

aah...Blacsktone Chronicles was scary. I also thought Barrow Hill was also. aln...I guess we all have our own taste in games. Lost Crown was the best game I've played in a long time. I have Limbo of the Lost on order. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy it.

Hi aln Of the three games you ask about, I would say Dracula 3 had the most tense atmosphere - even though it wasn't all out scary. It did keep that "unsettled" feeling going quite well, I thought Cheers. Mad

I'll second Ana:The Last Half of Darkness series was really scary. I would add Dark Fall to the list, that was beautifully creepy!

Oh gosh SD, I loved Sanitarium. I played Blacksont Chroncles when it first came out. Does it play on XP?

Blackstone Chronicles plays perfectly on my XP without any tweaking, but I've read of folks who've had problems getting it to run with XP. I agree, it's a great game with lots of heart-thumping moments.

Hey Bets: Were you asking about Sanitarium or Blackstone Chronicles on XP? I played Sanitarium on XP with no problems. Ooooooh that creepy pumpkin patch! Perfect for Halloween time.

@escakacs If you meant Sanitarium on Vista, then yes. I played it without any trouble. Had 1 or 2 freezes, but if you save often, then it's no big deal.
