You need wood from the wood pile outside the house.
The kindling is from the basket in front of the fireplace.

First place the firelighter, then the kindling from basket, then the wood from outside. Light it when all are piled together.

Joycef,

I had trouble with the fire, couldn't pick up the wood at the wood pile. It turned out, I didn't listen to all of the messages on the answering machine. Did you listen to all of the messages? luck wave

I have taken the pictures of the auras. Now I'm supposed to take the blule homeopathy bottles from the shelf - but - they won't go into inventory, same thing with the glass slides. I have followed the walkthru completely - so what could be wrong?
--------
Ok- I solved it myself. I had forgotten to take the magazine on water freezing.

Glad you found the paper that explains why you need the bottles and slides.

Hi ChuckO,

Are you looking at the correct door? Turn left at the top of the stairs, then left again, and follow the hall to the end where an old brown "Sale" poster is stuck to the wall. Turn left, and Rhiannon's room is the far door. Click on the handle and the words will appear. luck

Think So. It's the only one that's locked on the 2nd floor, right?

Do you already have the fire going?
Have turned on the faucet in the bathroom?
Have gotten Rhiannon's letter to daddy inside the book at Malcolm's office?

Deleted saved games, replayed to that point, and it worked..??? Bug.

Was this game done by the same guy who did the "Lost Crown" ? I thought it was but there is a distinct lack of NPC contact that was so prevalent in "Crown". Although the animation was odd in "Crown", I found it to be one of the best P & C adventures I have ever played..and I've played a bunch (I'm 52 and an IT guy) (Adventure, Colossal Cave, Zork series, Kings Quest, Rama,..god, I still have over 100 old titles..DOS and early Windoze stuff. Anyway, Thanks for the help you guys (and gals)give, especially . I really like Gameboomers, even though I usually Lurk (I'm shy)

Thanks again ..Especially Becky, who has helped me remember games that I have forgotten, based on a *tiny* bit of information !!!! (ya know..the one w/the baby in the mine, the crazy machine, and the "demon")

ChuckO

Glad you got through, ChuckO.

No, Rhiannon isn't a Jonathan Boakes game. It was developed by Noel Bruton of Arberth Studios, who is also a GB member. smile

Have fun with the rest of the game.

Is Boakes making another game?

You know, I work for Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the IT department, and we have a fledgling simulation development project headed by a young man named Kevin Abbott. Kevin acquired a 1/4 million+ dollar grant to develop a game development curriculum and has assembled a crew of graduate students, a talented professor experienced in simulation design (Dr. Karlis Kaugars), and put together a state of the art MoCap studio with associated editing stations. I'd love to get some of these folks in touch with each other. Any help would be much appreciated.

Stuck in cellar. Can't figure out which symbol to press. I followed the wt but still stuck. Looked all over for the air, fire, earth and water symbols but can't find them. Can you please send me a picture of them or tell me where to to find a picture of them.

C65,

The symbols are really dark. Follow the directions as to where to go in the wt.
The poster in Jen's office will show you what they look like:

Chuck),
Go to the Jonathan's site and mail him about what your idea. luck

I'm having a hard time finding the flagstone to get the red saddle. I did see the (horse) ghost but no gap.

As soon as you see the hors, look down at the flagstones.
Pan to the right and see a broken or lifted flagtone. Look close at that one. luck

Help, I can't pick up the rod in the safe, nor the instructions for doing the balance - the principia. Any suggestions? (I have all the sounds and the other objects, and have been around the graveyard)

Thanks

Have you read Boswell's diary?
Have you clicked on the front of Rhiannon Boswell's tomb and saw the cross shaped slot where you can use the wand? That is the trigger for the rod.
