I cannot place blue sock, blue box and blue plate on ground in front of bushes. I checked footprints and read bird book. Game just says I need to know which bird it is and I have to attract it. Please HELP! I seem to have done everything else I should have. Thanks!

welcome Peggy,

Have you talked to the guard about the black bird that took his tobacco with bright blue pack?
If so, then it might be a positional problem. Move around. If I remember correctly it is sort of diagonal to the bushes - the bushes is a bit to my right and the active spot is between me and the bushes. luck

Hi MaG! I did speak to the guard about his blue pack, but I haven't found it! I cannot find the spot in front of the bushes to place the objects. If it is where the hand shows, it just doesn't let me place them. Sure do appreciate your help! I also found that the black feather disappears from my inventory after I play to the bird in the tree - is that supposed to happen?

Hi PeggyOh, welcome to GameBoomers.

Make sure that you have checked the tracks with your magnifying glass. Then, double check that you have read the page of the bird book which identifies this bird as a Blue Bird of Paradise. luck

I DID read the book to identify the bird and I DID look at the bird prints with the magnifying glass! Now what?

OK, well, it's always good to double check these things. Did you re-examine the book AFTER you looked at the tracks through your magnifier?

If so, then as MaG says above, it's quite likely you need to adjust your positioning around that area - you should be close up to the hand cursor to place the items. The SH games are pernickety like that. luck

Thanks to you both!!! I left clicked on the magnifying glass while looking at the prints - guess I hadn't done that previously!!! I am now on the way once again in the game. Thanks again! Love this game and have been stumped for a long time. Guess it pays to click and poke and look and keep trying! I have played adventure games for a LONG time and love em!
