Hi guys,

For those who know mr for a while now, you all know that I'm a big devoted vampire fan and for those like me, we've been lucky to get two vampire games do far this year and if it wasn't enough we will fianaly get another one in November the long waited VAMPYRE STORY that will be released by TAC.

So my questions for you is. Between Dracula Origin and Dracula 3: The Path Of The Dragon wich one was your favourite and why?

I've only played Dracula Origin, but I enjoyed it. It's $10 cheaper than Dracula 3.

I've heard that Dracula 3 has some timed puzzles that can kill your character. I don't know if they're bad enough that people get stuck on them for long, but Dracula Origin did not have the timed puzzles.

Not really timed puzzles but yes you can get kill sometime, sure there's nothing you can handle Jenny, this was a great game. I'm usually good with puzzles so I can't say if you can get stuck several hours but some of them are really making every cell in your brain work hard. thanks all for your reply.

waveDanyboy~ If the games are not enough... and if you soon get HBO in your neck of the woods (according to a Sept. 2008 Vancouver Sun article online), there's also a new vamp TV series called "True Blood".

Thanks Carrie, I heard of that show, looks very interesting but I don't have HBO, will have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Hi smile

Despite the more difficult puzzles - some of which I'd never have managed without help from MaG's walkthrough - I preferred Dracula 3 to Dracula Origin.

I felt the atmosphere created in Dracula 3 was the more suitable for a vampire story .... Decidedly sinister evil

Cheers.

Well I would have to say that Origin was a bit better, mostly because more of the puzzles seemed to be logic based then in drac 3. Some of them in Drac 3 seemed to stretch it pretty good, but the first person perspective of drac 3 was quite nice. But to be honest, I'm sure there isn't much of a reason to play both.

Oh, and origin is much more based on the original novel within reason of course. Drac 3 is it's very own story with woven in history and myth. I think the main reason I like origin better though is that I found the ending in drac 3 to be a bit of a let down.
