Hi-

I am playing through Loki again and there is one place I can never get to. It is in The Egyptian and the Plateau of Giza. There is a cave there actually two, one I can do and the next one is blocked by a huge boulder. It is called the Secret Egyptian Temple. Does anyone know how to get in that cave???

Maggie, my memory is not what it once was, but I dimly remember that cave, and I think that you go around the side of it to get in, but then again I could be wrong.

No, I have not gone on the offical, forgot all about it. Fil, I will try what you say, but I just see large boulders on both sides.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong Maggie, but I do remember that cave and maybe you can't get in, but I don't remember not being able to get into anything in the game if that makes any sense. I played the game last winter and it's no longer on my machine so I can't go in and see.

Sorry no, but you could try doing some google searches, or walkthrough searches. Maybe you'll get lucky. I personally didn't like the game very much, for some reason I could not get into it. I really enjoy Diablo 2, Titan Quest, Divine Divinity and many others like it, but for some reason I couldn't get into Loki. Does it get better after the first while?

I found out through the forum that the only way to do certain things is when you are a Diety, so I have a ways to go. Thanks so much. It is a great game, there are four different characters and you play all four, I really enjoy the game. It does take awhile to get into it. I liked Titan Quest too, did you get their Expansion Pack, it was very good??

Maggie, since you said you are replaying the game perhaps you can answer a question for me.

I have just gone through all 4 areas and have killed Seth. I get a cut scene and am told I must have missed something and it take me back to the threshold. All my quests are gone.

There is no walkthrough for the game. I know there was what I think was one minor quest I could not finsh due to a game bug but every other quest I had was finshed.

My one unfinished quest was the Egyptian Strange Potion quest. It was a 3 part quest where killing minor bosses you get parts of their bodies. The sting of the scorpion I did not get as the scorpion never appeared. I cleared out the entire map the scorpion was supposed to appear on.

There were also a couple of secret temple or caves whose entrance were sealed off. I have no idea how you were supposed to get those opened up.

FOr a 60 hour plus game that was a really bad ending.

The secret temples quest you cannot do unless you are playing on Diety Mode, that I found out from the forum, once you are in Diety Mode you are suppose to be able to get into the caves. I am having the same problem getting the sting of a scorpion in the same section, the animal never did appear and it is cleared out, so for that I have not answer, except I am going to ignore it and finish. I am on the first level of this game, I still like it very much. I think the only way you could find it is to start that game over, but that is a long game and I agree with you, it is not a good ending for all those hours. I keep hoping they will come out with an expansion pack. I have hunted all over and never found a walkthough at all.
I have never figured out what to do with the strange potion, I will ask at the forum and see what they say.As to the no scorpion, I agree it is a glitch, it was there when I played it before, so this is the first time it happened to me.

I will leave a message here when I hear from the Forum and I will also ask them about the Scorpion.

What RPG are you playing now?? The Witcher is really good and so is Titan Quest and it has an expansion pack, both are point and click. If you buy The Witcher, get the new Enhanced Version, it will have all the updates and I think it is better than the earlier one. If you need a trainer, go to www.cheatshappen.com

The forum is extremely slow. Thanks for trying. its no biggie. I got over 60 hours of play from the game so I felt like I got my moneys worth. Just was so disappointing with the ending but I have seen other bad endings before.

In answer to your question about what RPG I am plying right now, it is none. I am trying to decide what to play next. I do have lots of choices at home. I have already played Titan Quest and expansion that you mentioned. I have the original Witcher so I need to download the new content but I want to wait until I get a better video card before I play it. NWN2 and expansion pack is a possibility. I also have some older rpgs unplayed too that I really want to play.

You mentioned cheathappens for trainers. I have gone to that site. They look like they have good trainers there but it seems like the newest one you have to pay to get them. And right now I find it hard to justify paying for cheats.

Currently playing adventure games as I am so behind on them.

It does work for me but you have to remember to lock the keypad for it to work.
