I think it's sometime post-grave but not too sure exactly how long into that period.

Plain and simple. No. And you don't grow old as long as you haven't forgotten how to play. Ana

Hello,
As long as I am able I will never quit playing adventure games. The puzzles and mysteries in the games keep my mind sharp, not to mention they are lots of fun.

There can't be such a thing as "too old to play PC games", not in my book! What a terrible thought! Love, Betty Lou

Heavens, what an terrible thought. I may not be able to do timed puzzles as I used to but the brain is still fast ( I think )
Has any one seen any little gray cells around as I think I've lost some? Reward for finder.

I think it's sometime post-grave but not too sure exactly how long into that period. Love that answer and that's how I feel too. Playing (and dogs) are essential to living

I'm curious as to what prompted the question.

Oh man, what a horrible thought. Growing too old to play!? No way - I have to be blind, not able to move hands, legs or mouth before that happens

I'm taking my PS, cmptrs, games etc to heaven with me. Non stop playing. Also my cats, dogs etc because they nap all over my games. Especially will take my Razor Deathadder mouse as it's vicious, fearsom and deadly. And if my spelling is bad must take Bryan and his spellcheck too.

The reason I asked, is "Your too old for playing video games..." WOW, I didn't know being in your 50's is old. After trying to explain to them what an adventure game is, I gave up. They just didn't (want to) understand.
When they're the age you're at now (50s), tell them, "See ??... now you're doing the same kinds of things that I did... the same things that you thought I was too old to do! "

So many of us here are over fifty and playing more games than we did when we were younger. Well, of course they didn't have games back then. I think maybe they had just invented the wheel. My family has never understood it either Sam, but what makes you happy and keeps you mentally active is what is important, I think.

Well I'm not over 50 yet, but I do get asked "is it a gift for a boy or a girl" whenever I buy a game (so they know which colour gift wrap to get). It just doesn't occur to them that adults play games as well. Or sometimes if it's an M-rated game they ask if the intended player is over 18, in which case I thank them for the compliment and ask them if I really look that young. Sam_123 just show them this! http://www.theesa.com/newsroom/release_detail.asp?releaseID=26the average age of game players has risen to 35. One out of four gamers are over age 50.
