I have read some suggestions on this forum for preventing the jetpack from exploding in ND Castle Malloy. I am outside away from the front door, I followed all the directions carefully as well as moving the lever up in one smooth move. Nothing seems to make any difference and it explodes every time.
If nothing else, can someone send me a save game to get beyond this so that I can finish the game?

Are you doing this away from the castle?
CYE for a junior saved game.

I've tried everything and the Jetpack still explodes. I'm outside on the castle grounds and nowhere near the castle. So, I'm not sure what's going on with it.

Can someone send me a saved Jetpack game and explain to me on how to load it in my game. I'm playing in junior.

On the way with explanation.

I figured out the problem with the jetpack. I blew myself up 100 times last night trying to get airborne. It's all about that pesky lever.

Place your cursor to the left of, and just slightly below, the halfway mark on the lever control. Then click-hold, and drag your cursor up a little. The lever moves straight to halfway. Trust me, it works.

I tried simply double-clicking at that point, and although the lever moves up without stopping at the quarter-mark, the game doesn't like that method, and...kaboom.

Thanks MaG. Just before I got the download, I happened to play around with the jetpack and got it to work. Now I'm messing around with the chemicals in the lab.

That feels good!
Have patience, do it slow and use the graph lines as guide.

Would someone give me the save game etc, I have blown myself up so many times, I am about to give up

Thank you yet again Mag...I did enjoy flying around...hope everyone else got off the ground too !

My feet are still on the ground and I no longer have eyebrows or eyelashes much less fingers.

I've tried all the suggestions here, but thing still blow up in my face. I have problems printing the pages - I can get only one to print and dry and then I can't print the others although I have figured out the sequence one printed page at a time. Does this play a factor in my lack of flying skills?
