Hi all,

I just downloaded this game last night and tried to start it. I keep crashing right at the point where they show you the body and fades to another screen (I guess that's how to say it?). Does anyone have a save right at the beginning? I want to see if I can get past that part and play the game before I go to glitches to see if something else may be the problem. I know this is rather strange as not much has happened in the game, actually nothing has happened as yet....but if it gets me past the crashing it will help. Thanks

You're welcome. If you still have problems, try turning off some/all of the special effects in your Options menu, that might help.

Thanks I will try that as well...one more question. Where do the saves go? Which folder? Most times it's easy, the folder says saves or something close, but I can't find this one...probably because I don't have any yet? Sorry to keep bothering you....

There should be a game folder in My Documents, with a subfolder in your name where the saves are kept. I'm unsure if this will appear if you have not yet made any saves.

Are you able to make any initial saves at all before the game crashes?

No I tried that and can't get past the first scene....it just keeps crashing and saying "Sinking Island has encountered a problem and needs to close". Think I'm going to have to go to glitches and see if there is any way around it. I would love to play this game, but so far....not having much luck. Seems to be my problem the last couple of weeks with games. Although I was finally able to play and finish Hardy Boys yesterday so Hooray!!! Let's see if I can get past this problem and play the game before the end of the day? Thanks Rushes....you have been great.

EDIT: The folder is there in My documents. Thanks Rushes...let me see if this helps.
