WOW I have spent the last two weeks replaying one of THE adventuregames of all time. The Pandora Directive A game filled with all the goodies a great adventure game should have. Compared to many of the games produced the last couple of years it still stands tall. What ever you do, you simply must give Tex a go, you wont be sorry. The only thing that makes me is that it's over, at least for this time. Since I have replayed all but one, Overseer, I quickly wipe the tears away and I'm feeling again. Cheers

Hi, Lagavulin! ICAM with your comments. Good old Tex was one of a kind, that's for sure. To me, he's a cross between Sam Spade and Columbo, and James Earl Jones made dying almost a pleasure ! Those were the days when computer games took at least 2 weeks to complete, but we also paid about $69.99 here in Canada as compared to $19.99 today. I absolutely hate how "Overseer" left us hanging, but I haven't given up hope that some other company will buy the rights to Tex and release a final game to tie up all of the loose ends. Susan

I have also played it many more than a dozen times since I got it when it first came out and it captures me every time I play it. Even after playing many new highly graphic games this game still stands out above them for me.

Overseer was actually the first Tex game "Mean Streets" retooled for windows with better graphics. There really were no loose ends as UAKM was the continuation of Overseer and Pandora Directive from there. The order of the Tex games in actual chronological sequence is Overseer, UAKM and Pandora Directive.

Barry
