Here's a Gameboomer review of Morning's Wrath that includes a little about the developers.

Greetings all! It's great to be here yet again, with another game under our belt, I have a lot of fond memories chatting with you guys when we released Morning's Wrath. So to solidify some questions, we don't have any plans for hard copies (the overhead is a bit too great); but we also have no DRM mechanisms, or activation codes. So feel free to copy the game to whatever media you like for your own use. I'm glad to see people are enjoying the demo, it was cut a bit short compared to the full game and doesn't contain a lot of story, but it gives a good feel of the gameplay and the controls. We have a lot of sites currently reviewing the game so hopefully there will be some reviews out soon; Not to steal Malathedras' thunder, but for those of you who enjoyed Morning's Wrath, our next game in development is Morning's Wrath 2 so be sure to watch www.edigames.com for news on that (current site is http://www.edigames.com/mwcotn , should be more info there soon) Anyhow feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I hope you all enjoy Malathedra! -Raymond

Hi martinc, I too prefer to buy hard copies as I don't like keeping large file games on my system, preferring to copy them to disc to keep for replay in the future. What I don't like with this is that with some games you can only reinstall them via 'activation' from the developers/publishers website which may no longer exist by that time & I won't buy them unless they are very cheap! But with this game you can copy the game to disc to play in the future - no strings attached! Okay you don't get the nice DVD box but I have to agree with Becky - if enough people buy the downloadable version from a small developer like this then maybe they can stretch to disc versions in the future. I also don't think you will have any problems re E-mail contact with these developers!

I hope they do change their minds about the hard disc, because I'd like to play it. Their RPG had lots of fun adventury bits and I really enjoyed it. With their first game ( RPG) effort, they were an unknown asking a high price in a very tough market.

Hi Nickie, long time no see, out of curiosity why would us not having a hard copy deter you, since we have no DRM and are fine with your making hard copies for yourself. For us to be able to make hard copies cost effective we'd have to sell for a much higher price (29.95 like Morning's Wrath originally was for hard-copy) to help cover the production and shipping overhead.
