Maggie if you save and exit in Sacred 2 when you start again you are always returned to the last monolith you activated. If you have installed all the patches then you will have an option for a save anywhere with F9. If you get killed or activate a monolith after you save then you will lose that save and you will be again returned to the last one you activated.

Oldman- I am in an elfven town, a big one and I found another monolith and I activated it. I got off on purpose and when I went back on I was there. I am having trouble finding a tavern, I am suppose to bribe someone to get them out of prison. I really like the game alot. I am so glad you told me about Sacred Gold, I should have it in a few days. Thanks so much for the help. By the way, I found a transporter I activated, course I cannot use it yet, but nice when I can. Take care maggie i am in another town and found the Monolith and the Portal, so I will go back there when I start tomorrow. Also pressed F9, will not know if it works till it works. Thanks again.

Maggie if you're talking about this guy with the icon over his head that I circled, he is the Rune Master and he only trades runes. If you give him 4 runes that you have you can pick whatever rune you want. (I think if you give him three then you get a random rune.)

Oldman- Yes, that is the guy I am talking about, but I can't seem just to buy runes from him, I do not have any. I am about at level 170, you would figure by now I would. I am missing lots of the little towns, so will have to go back. Is there anything anywhere that tells me which towns have the Monoliths in them?? I really appreciate your taking the time to help me. By the way, I tried to drag and drop from what the man had in Runes and it would not. Thanks so much maggie

Maggie I hope that is a typo. 170? I finished the game with my Seraphim at level 37. Anyway if you pick up everything from every battle you will gather runes. You can hit Q and pick up everything in the radius of your character. You need runes to trade with the Rune Master. He does not sell them.
Also, if you click on every character with a question mark above his head you will get side quests and some of them give you runes as a reward. There are tons of side quest in this game, so many that they are sometimes hard to keep track of.
I don't know if you know but if you hit the L key it will show you your quests. There is an triangle on your minimap to point you in the direction of the current quest you are on. Orange is the main quest, Blue is your character's quests and white is the side quests.

Level 170! I'm a 29 and I have been playing since the day it came out! How can there be any challenge? at 29 I am still higher than the enemies in my territory because I do every quest. What is the trainer for? I never died yet Maggie, have you tried the game without a trainer? It's not so hard, just fun. Ana

Ana- Yes, I kept dying all the time. The trainer gives you lots of money and adds 98 to your skills, I can still die if I forget to press #3 when she needs it, which I have done several times. I have found a huge spider like creature that so far I cannot kill. So I am getting in lots of action and tons of fighting, I never like God Mode, it is silly and why play at all if I can't be challenged and possibly killed. Did try it without the trainer and kept dying, but I know I will try it again. I really like the game. I am surprised at how much fun this game is, it was funny trying to figure out how to get off the horse, but I did. Take care maggie

Sorry Maggie, I was writing earlier while at work and see that it probably didn't come out as I intended. I was just curious how much more powerful you must be than any of the opponents. I do all the quests so I stay in one area much longer than needed to progress and I end up in territories where I am 5-10 levels higher than my opponents and they only become a nuisance because killing them only gives you about 5 points. I have played my share of shooters in GodMode so I understand the need when the going gets tough. As long as you are enjoying yourself is all that matters! Ana

Ana- I did not mind your thread to me, I enjoy talking to everyone at Gameboomers, it is like a second family to me. Can you help me out with something? I am suppose to know Blacksmith in my game, I can find a blacksmith, have found plenty of them, but how to I accomplish it so I know it, it is suppose to help my character. I am playing the Serraphin, (probably spelled wrong, but you know who I am talking about) and could not find the tiger, so she is on a horse, runs pretty fast too. I think my problem is that I go through towns and villages too fast. I am only getting about half the quests done, I love doing them. One I could not do, it was in a cave and inside it needed a key to open a door, which I did not have. You have all hooked me on this game, terrible of you I think.. Take care and hugs maggie

maggie, I still do not have blacksmith. I am also a Seraphim. I do have the tiger though, a green one. He has an awesome growl. You have to earn him in a quest called Unique Mounts. Maybe Oldman knows blacksmith and can teach us both. Ana

Well let's see if I can explain this. Any blacksmith can forge items to armor or weapons but the armor/weapon has to be forgeable(if that's a word). Anyway items that can be forged have square icons on them when you look at them with your mouse like this brown square on the sash. When you have an item that can be forged you then click a blacksmith and you have a space to drag and drop the item and squares to place either runes or lava stones etc. The squares will show you what can be used in them. You just drag and drop the item (rune etc) into the squares boxes and if you have the money you hit forge and the item is forged. You should forge every item that you can as it really adds a lot. Hope that wasn't too confusing.

Oldman- Thanks so much, I know that square, I have several blades with it on. So will take a chance and try it, went through the booklet several times and could not find a decent answer. By the way have you and Ana noticed that when the game starts and this writing is on the screenm, I believe in green, there is a funny message every time at the third paragraph. Some are a real hoot. Thanks so much for the help. maggie

Hi Maggie At level 170, you are proving that you are indeed Mighty Mouse. I love the 4 quests that involve saving cats and bears.

Benedict I have not found any cats, the only bears I found are the ones I had to kill. Where are you finding these? I am now level 220. Like I said lots of quests I have not done, have a feeling I will have to do this game over many times, I have started another one and am finding different areas of the map to visit, one has a castle. maggie

Sherryah, Amazon says they have it, and also that it is available for International Shipping and Ireland is listed as a place they ship to. I have no idea of cost to ship or anything else though. You can check it out and see if that will work for you. You could also post in the Trading Post here to see if anyone has it.
