Tropical islands, pirates, shopping, and blondes -- do these things have anything in common? Find out as Flotsam talks to designer Steve Ince, whose previous work includes the Broken Sword series. How many blondes does it take to escape from a desert island?

I'm not one that reads many interviews, and almost avoided this one as well, but had to see if it was based on the stereotypical blond, even though I'm not. The interview covered a lot of ground without becoming boringly excessive.
Thanks flotsam and Steve; does look like an interesting game and the graphics are cute, and I do like games that develop moral values and ethics per a character which is what this appears to be.

Post here moved to its own thread - as it felt tacked on and in the wrong place. And ... wasn't fast enough. Has a reply here: So link to where original post now lives So Blonde impressions

I am in day four of SO Blonde and rate it up there with CMI. Wow! Thanks. [Steve has big grin for the rest of the day...] Seriously though, this is a deep rich game, with lots to see and do. Great characters as well. Oh.. Keep a sharp eye out for all the "other game" and cultural homages. The humor is subtle in some places, in your face others. One moment in particular had me laughing for a time. I would mention it in particular, but I am afraid it might say something dire about my persona if I gave it away - And now we're ALL intrigued. And the dialogues are "quite nice", even ... "legendary"

Great interview Flotsam and Steve. I have to say the picture of the Pirate has utterly sold me - I'm ready to buy! And I really appreciated learning something new - I had no idea that Steve had contributed to The Witcher. Can you elaborate on what? (On the darkside, this is a huge favorite).

The Witcher Stevie, haven't got my eager hands on So Blonde yet. As I said previously, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the pirate. No doubt So Blonde is sensational as well.

Orient -- I did see info a few months ago about the game releasing in Australia, but apparently it hasn't hit shelves yet, and I don't have any information as to when it will. You can purchase the game through Interact CD, which ships internationally -- I couldn't find the game in the main Interact store, but it is available in the Just Adventure store here.

Becky, no details when it will be released but it is for preorder here Last week they said they still had no date but would post it as soon as they knew.
