I have found the gear in the work shop, but I can not find the power cell in the office. The walkthru said look on floor left of the desk but all I find on the floor are the books. Can someone please tell me where to find the power cell. Thank you.

keep looking. Look to the left (screen) pan and down. it looks like a brick. Its in the corner nearest the door entrance. Good luck

You will find the powercell only when you are in a different time.
You use the time key - then rush to the office and see if the powercell is there. If the time goes back to the present - it won't be there.
