I downloaded it this morning before work but dang... only had time to go through the tutorial... work really gets in the way of my gaming. I think I'll retire. But if I do I won't be able to afford as many games... It looks great it's an IHOG. Didn't get to notice much else. I know already I'll buy it... I like the Interactive HOGS the best.

I just bought this one too. I really don't hate the timer yet. With the help of a hint (or two), I have been able to get through the screens before it runs out. I really liked the fish tank game.

I didn't like this game, very short time given for each scene, graphics are not clear, the tiny parts of the things difficult to see, the hints restore too slow. Not my cup of a tea.
Why resist temptation? There will always be more. Don Herold.

I have to agree. This one isn't for me, either, although the idea of being Audrey Hepburn, even in a game, is lovely! (Not to mention working for Clark Gable.) However, it has the awful timer, which I might find livable if that were the only downside, but it also has some arcade type mini-games which get in the way of the story and are MUCH more frustration than fun. Having to pull out rocks on the bottom of the aquarium with a claw that was only flexible when picking up fish in the way but precise when avoiding the rocks you need was too much! Did I mention the claw also has to go all the way back each time before you can try again for an elusive opening, while the timer clicks away? And what you do "win"? Why you get to solve a so-easy-a-five-year-old-can-do-it safe combination puzzle that takes maybe 60 seconds. However, if arcade elements are your thing and you don't mind timers, it has Silver Screen appeal.

I actually like it but like everyone else the timer puts me off. I think I'll wait and see if the makers add in a "relaxed mode" before I buy.

I've been playing for hours. It feels like a very long game for a casual but it's very repetitive. My back and shoulders ache so much I'm going to bed! Good value for money if you are able to play for a short while and then walk away, but how many of us can do that? Have just finished and I have to agree with the comments about the timer. Really irritating to have to keep playing the same game again and again zzzzzzz. (Couldn't find an icon for yawn!)

I loved this game and I hated this game.
Evidently the game makers don't come to Gameboomers or they would know we hate timers... but what I hated worse than that was they don't allow random clicking... on a game of this caliber, searching for tiny pieces of keys, you will often click wrong and that got me so frustrated I wanted to scream.
I loved the idea behind the game, the graphics and the storyline but if I want to get frustrated... I'll go watch tv with DH.
This is really sad because this game could have been GREAT if they had only listened to us gameboomers... thumbs down on this one for me.

There is no better way to get your point to the developer then writing the developer. If they get no feedback they have no reason to believe they weren't successful. Ana

Finally getting a chance to play this. I have a habit of demoing a game, buying it and then putting it aside for later. I'm about 1/3rd of the way through I think.
Despite user reviews I've read on the BFG forums and Gamezebo forums, I really like this game. The scenes are interesting and there's a really nice mix of different types of seek and find that include find from a list, outline, 20 of the same object, spot the difference, gathering pieces and using objects (like Mortimer Beckett) and put items back by outline. There are minigames too which aren't spectacular but they are a nice diversion.
One major gripe though is that dreaded timer. I normally do not mind timers but you are only given anywhere between 59 seconds to 4:59 seconds for a scene depending on the type of seek and find. I've found that I've had to redo scenes a few times. Thankfully it goes fast and isn't that monotonous.
I do think that if this game was timer-free or had more generous times it would have been more popular because it is a fairly lengthy game with a good mix.
ETA: If you're okay with timers, don't let that darn fish mini-game deter you. It's the only tedious mini-game I've come across so far.
