Sherryah-

I bought mine from Amazon, price was really good and I love the game. If you have a horse, over to the right on the bottom you will see a tiny picture in black of a horse, just click on that and you will dismount. You can also have several games with different characters and it does not hurt the other game or change it. The trainer is from www.cheathappens.com it is a great trainer and very easy to use. Print out the intructions, I always do. It cost's $19.99 for a lifetime membership, which I have or you can get them free when they are released to the general public after a couple months. You turn the trainer on first, have it go to your desktop and then the game always. After the game starts, the story that is press F1, you may have to press several times to hear the words, then press the keys you want to use. Hope all of this is a help. Sorry to be late in answering, was Christmas shopping.

Take care

Sherryah you can also dismount a horse/special mount by hitting the number 0 key on your keyboard.

Also if Amazon.uk ships to Ireland you can get a really good price

here for Sacred Gold.

Have you played the game all the way through? I am at a big camp where a bunch of tribes are going to get together, luckily I can go back and still do the quests I missed. I did not want a horse this time. I am a Seraphin (spelling) how do I find the tiger, have not found anything but horses so far.

Thanks so much

Yes Maggie I have finished the game with my Seraphim and am now playing as a dryad. The special mount quest is in the NW part of the map. This is how you obtain the tiger.

Thanks so much for the link, had no idea, thought the guy who sold horses sold all the mounts, learned quickly he did not. Will print out information and keep it so I can buy a mount. How are you enjoying the game as a Dryad? I like my Seraphim, she seems the nicest and yet really good at killing.

Thanks again for your time.

I am playing the Demo, if I get the game itself would I be able to load the part played in this Demo?

I have read this game has DRM protection that it seem yo install this protection and doesn't uninstall even if one uninstalls the game, I suppose this means yet again one game that one cannot sale and maybe difficult to play again in the future, I never sale any game and very rarely play it twice but I feel abused buying a game with these restrictions particularly not cheap ones.

I do not know if your Demo part can be loaded into the full game. I never played the Demo. The game is great, not sure how big the world is in it, but game will be long, it is all point and click, except for camera, which is A and D. I love the game and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thank you maggie, I remembered today having problems with the first Sacred, it did install well but when checking the Disk 1 would give Disk verification error, my game was original 100% but it did not recognized it. I tried installing it today again, same result, apparently I was not a unique case, the protection system was creating the problem to others too. I contacted at that time the publishers with no success. mad

I'll wait a little before throwing that ammount of money away.

I wanted to let you know that if I had had a problem with the protection I sure would tell you. I have also with the first, but have installed Sacred 2 with no problems at all. Yes, I think you have to do what you are comfortable with, I really agree with that. The price of these games are so high. I think I would email the company and ask for another first game, maybe they can help you.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting in any game

What upsets me is the fact that they sell the products with protections that are bad for the buyers, apparently the first had starforce and this one DRM, this protection makes hacking more difficult but not impossible, then you can still get pirate games that have been cracked, so really the ones who come bad as a result are us - the ones that buy originals and can not play them.

I enjoyed the Demo and I will wait to see how many people encounter problems before deciding.

Blame the thoughtless people that pirate games, and not the people who are trying to make an honest dollar, even though it is unfortunately an inconvenience to us.
A game having protection or not has no bearing on what you do with it after you play it. Someone else with a different configuration on their PC or a different virus protection/firewall may not have any problem at all. I had a DVD drive that somehow would not let me install a couple of games that no one else had a problem with - when I replaced that, no problem with the games.

Yes, I agree with you, first I do not understand why they pirate games. As to the protection, I have not had any problem with any game messing up my computer that had protection. Me, well I enjoy games just for games, I am not serious, meaning I like to enjoy my games and computer. I also have Sacred Gold and the first Sacred, have never had a problem loading them at all and all load perfectly on my Vista Ultimate.

nickie, you are right in the sense that the problem starts with the pirates, however there are companies that use protection against it without being Starforce or DRM. For what I hear somehow these methods encourage people who normally buy real originals to go to the pirates to avoid these protections.

When I installed Sacred my computer was top of the line, why would I have to change my dvd rom just because they decide to use a certain protection? contacted the company and got no help at all.

Yesterday when I tried again to install Sacred because I was not sure why I could not play the game 4 years ago had the same message, this is a different DVD drive since I added a new one last year.

I was just using the example of my DVD drive to illustrate that the problems can be varied, and there's no way a company can develop a game that can account for all the variables in the different computers. The problem my DVD drive had was not with games with any protection - I've not had a problem with those. Now please let's move on and not get away from the topic, which is discussing playing the game.

O.K., lets go back to my first question in case somebody knows the answer

The demo save games are not compatible with the regular game so in answer to your question, no you can't continue on from the demo but have to start a new character.
