I have been trying for days and days to solve this puzzle. I keep turning the gates with the periscopes so that the blue colored gate is on the outer side, but still cannot get through the final door....is there anything I can do to bypass this puzzle? It is very frustrating. Thanks to anyone who could help.

Place the last gate to have the red on the outer side. So, all blue gates except the last one.

Thanks for the tip, but I tried it and still could not open the door. I turned all of them to blue on the outside except the last one which I turned to the right on the outside. I am considering the the place where the 2 telescopes are would be the last two gates????

Yes, I have enjoyed this game, but this tower puzzle is really frustrating. And the more frustrated I get, the less I like a game......

Try turning the last one blue to the outside also - see if that works.

I have a saved game but it is icky to install - tell me if you want it.

Well, I tried your suggestion, but am still unable to get through the door. So, if you have a saved game that would let me bypass this puzzle, I would very much appreciate it. I know you said it was not an easy save to install, but short of just giving up on the game, it is the only thing I can think of to do now. Thank you so much for trying to help.
