Or, probably more likely, not a fan of average quality casual games that are marketed and priced as adventure games, while being falsely toted as being part of a popular and well-regarded series. Samantha

I honestly don't think I've ever been more disappointed. I have all of the CSI games and was so excited about this new one and here it is a HOG. I love HOG's but you kind of expect more of the CSI games because of the ones that are already out there. Not to mention that they witheld the fact that it was more of a casual game than and adventure. I don't even know if I will download it when/if bigfish gets it.....

I've already ordered this, being a huge fan of the previous CSI games, but luckily my order was delayed. I think I'll cancel it until the price comes down. Like you other CSI fans who had become excited by the new title, I'm now feeling pretty disappointed. Thank goodness I read this thread, though.

I wish I had read this before I bought it too. Until I saw that this thread was in the casual gaming section I was under the impression this game was like all the other CSI's. I wish I could un-order it.

Tina, this thread was posted in The Adventure forum until we found out it was casual (after the release). There is a thread on that Here. Sorry that many of you bought with the impression it was a sequel to the series, I too had purchased mine before I found out. Ana

I got my copy from Amazon yesterday. I was planning to return it not opened, but changed my mind and started playing. I'm glad I did it. In spite of everything I'm enjoying the game. It's a very good casual game, the story (the first case) is interesting, the mini games are not difficult and relevant to the CSI technics, there is no timer, fast hints restoring...In general, I started forgetting about the lost of money.

Okay, so I've been playing the game for about an hour and a half. Although it's not like the others in the series, it's still a step above a standard HOG. There still is a little bit of problem solving and interrogation. I think it's a good mix of the two. Granted, I wished I'd waited for it to be on BigFish, but am still not as disappointed as I thought I was going to be.
