Well first let me say that I don't normally comment on the games that I play. I usually sit back and read everyone else comments. But I just finished playing this game, after about two weeks of arguing with myself and my bank account about the costs, and I can honestly say that I am glad I did. The was the best game I have played in a long time. I laughed, alot, I was angry, I was sad, I was angry again and I laughed a whole lot more. There was so many different emotions and they were all appropriate. I'm not going to do a review, as I'm not even sure I know how, but I will say I enjoyed playing this game immensely. It has been an awfully long time since I have actually enjoyed a game this much that I felt the need to put it it in writing. Great Job.....Great Game. Again, just my thoughts.
Barbara
P.S. I don't usually play games a second time, but I will definitely play this game again. I know that there was alot I missed, but really because I enjoyed it that much.

Thanks Barbara, you give me 'food for thought' that maybe I should look to BAAG this one on TP and give it a try - some of the comments when it first came out sorta put me off of having any interest in it...and it seems there are a whole bunch of us GBers here in Sacramento.....me too. This is better than any review I've read so far. It sounds like you got out of it everything I'd hoped players would. Many thanks, Barbara. I've not actually mentioned this before in articles or interviews, but the writing of So Blonde was a pretty emotional experience because I invested so much into the characters. So much so that there was one scene I wrote that brought a lump to my throat as I wrote it. By the way, I didn't win the Writers' Guild award, but at least I was nominated, so I kind of came joint second.

Sly One, I'm with you on this game and I'm only just about to start Chapter 3. So far this game reminds me of the best of Sierra, Revolution Software and Lucas Arts rolled into one . It took me back to those halcyon days of adventure games. The detail in the backgrounds is remarakable. I advise everyone to take time to click on everything and really look at the backgrounds. Lots of references to other games, tv etc. The bad news is...I'm afraid that future adventure games will fail to match up to this one.

From a personal point of view, I have a lot more still to see the light of day. I hope it matches up.

I agree with everyone here. This is how I like my adventure games to be like. Lots to click and interact with and click to read about. There was so much more to Sunny than first meet the eyes. It was a real pleasure to grow with her.
