I am going on my annual shopping trip to Jersey this week, and I want to buy an U3 Sandisk Flash Drive. I remember someone telling me that I have to buy one of these in order to be able to play the BigFish games on different computers from this Flash Drive, rather than redownloading onto each individual computer. But I cant find the relevant information on the BFG website. Can someone send me the link again please.
And is this the Flash Drive BFG are referring to?

This is the link to the bigfish games that will run on any U3 usb drive. http://sandisk.bigfishgames.com/There should also be some games, and other useful programmes off the USB drive menu Regards Bob

Thank you very much folks.
Why is it that only a few games work with the U3 Flash Drive, and not all of them??

They have to be specially made to not run off your registry. Not all have been made that way yet. The list has grown from the last time I looked. Ana

Ditto what L4L said. My understanding from earlier posts is that it was specifically designed for the U3. Ana

I got this a while ago, before I knew that only specific games can be played on it. I haven't been notified if any new games have been coded to play on it.
I have never used it other than to download a couple of games on it but they were games I had already finished.
I'm asking for an external hard drive for Xmas so I can put ALL games new and old on it so I can take it with me.

Jldcat, you would not be able to take the external drive to someone else's computer and play it. It still makes changes to the registry on the computer it was downloaded to even though you downloaded to an external drive and those are needed to play. ana

Now that's good to know Ana, thanks for telling me. Basically I have about 80 Bigfish games on my laptop at present and hate the thought of deleting them even though it slows down my computer for the adventure games. At least having the external drive will free up my computer memory.
The only other place I would want to take the drive would be to my Dad's who is also a Bigfish member.

I opted to get a really good graphics card instead of paying attention to the processor so I don't have a dual core. I only have a 1.86ghz single core processor.
I found that my computer seemed to be running a bit slow (while playing more taxing adventure games) and on a whim (since I had just gotten high speed) I deleted all my bigfish games and noticed that it was running quicker. I re-installed the games (took all weekend for this whole thing) and it ran slower. I can't explain it cause I know next to nothing about laptops etc. I only have a 70GB hard-drive and have about 50% left. It could be all in my head but at least an external drive will have only games on it in one place.
