I have a question, but it might actually be a spoiler so:
Click to reveal..
When I went out at night to get the mandrake plant, I didn't get the garlic by the gate. Now it's daytime and I can't find the garlic anywhere. Do I have to wait until nighttime to see the garlic? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi pamvan,

I haven't yet played this game. Looking at the walkthrough it only mentions that the mandrake should be taken at night, so I'm not certain about the garlic.

From Malcolm Schmidt's walkthrough: The garlic is found hanging from the roof (and on the trestle table) at the first house on your left when leaving through the front gates in the yard.

Did you check the roof as well as the trestle table?

Pamvan,

Check the areas that Rushes mentioned. I didn't have any trouble finding the garlic during the daytime. luck wave

Thanks, Rushes & TLC--I just was able to get back to the game . I didn't look at the roof area; I'll try that right now.

Got it. Thank you, again.

Hi, I'm at beginning of this game, looking for recipients of all sorts, which are supposed to be found on table to right of fireplace in kitchen, but there is only a mixing bowl and pestle, pipette and spoon there. Any help please?? Thanks

Hi Geri,

I believe those are the items that you need, aka recipients of all sorts. Are you able to pick them up into your inventory?

Geri,

The "recipients of all sorts" are bottles. Check your inventory for bottles in one spot, they aren't seperated in inventory. Maybe you picked them up and didn't realize it. luck wave

Thank you both so much, seems I shoild've taken bottles from shelf, rather than just spooning contents out!

Geri,

Glad you found what was holding you up.

One is the kitchen - that is at the lower floor close to the well and the other is the lab-office of Nostradamus.
