And I'm just about to dive back into the game until the season finale of Sons of Anarchy comes on in about 45 minutes!

Hi Way, way into chapter 3 and only just completed the "dog tallow" quest - but - managed it without killing any dogs, which was my aim !! I am finding fighting on the side of "The Order" (the first time for me) to be very strange though and and it's really taking me quite a while to get used to it Not that it's altering in any way my enjoyment of this superb game, of course .... But what could ?? It's simply superb !! Cheers. Mad

I just finished the bank, oldman. And you're so right... I had to hold my nose to go with the Order. But I'm promised myself I was going to play the Order this time and so far I have managed to keep playing in spite of it. There is just so much else about this game that is great!

Never ran into any choosing wrong option so you'd have to be more specific. Which person did you lose dialogue with? As for intoxication, there is a potion called wives tears. There is a waitress in the New Narakort Inn that will give you the recipe or you can just make it yourself as shown here.

Hi Templeton Peck Some of the characters who "take offence" will speak to you again - after they've had a good night's sleep Cheers. Mad

Ah I'm feeling mighty lonely out here ... I've gone with the Order every time. I just can't bring myself to side with the Squirrels, and I'm too cowardly to go neutral! Well, I do want to try neutral! Maybe I can do it this time (play #4)! But the Squirrels seemed to be too violent and too rebellious, unmindful of consequences. Maybe I should find a way to hook up with that Kikimore Queen - she's vicious!

Templeton, I found a couple minor characters that won't speak to you again if you say the wrong thing. One I recall was a merchant in chapter three. I think the main characters will respond to you again, although their response now may not be as helpful to you as before (such as if you accuse Vincent). If something is important to the main story line though, you'll get the conversation.
Aw Looney, don't be lonely! Maggie did that too (kept picking the Order). It's sure interesting to hear why people chose the side they did.

Thanks Mad & Nickie Another question, I think something is glitched maybe? I went to Shani's house and her grandma keeps saying "welcome, make yourself at home" every time I try to talk to her, or even go near her. Also, when I talked to Shani, she acted like I should have had trouble getting past her, but I didn't. I also found 3 items related to her grandma, but they all went in my inventory as quest items? I don't know if that was supposed to happen or not?

Well, different things happen in every game, so I can't say if it's a glitch or not. The only time I think grandma said welcome to me is after I gave her money. But you don't need to talk to her. What items went into your inventory? I'm only aware of her diary, and that would be a quest item.

Huh. Well, she may change her attitute towards you in the future. Mad, there wasn't anything to do with the pickles and lard was there? Maybe a quest that got cut out of the final.

I had Granny's pickles and lard and some kind of liquor that "kicks like a mule" go into my quest items inventory too and never could figure out why as I've never needed them. She kept throwing me out until I game her money too. Then she always either welcomes me or is not there.

Drac- You know I never found a quest or anything to do with the pickles and lard, but I stayed with the order, maybe that is why. Next time I am going to go with the squirrels, might be interesting. Drac, I found by giving granny 100 in gold she will not throw you out. Take care maggie
