Hi, I read the last few posts and didn't find this. I can't get the cauldron to take any of the Kirlian photos of the symbolic items. I checked the walkthrough and can't find anything that I may have missed. Did the samples, froze them, viewed them did the labels and the comparisons. But the cauldron will take the bottles and then laugh...and send them back. What am I missing or doing wrong? Thank you in advance. confused

Hi dwn_force,

Use the symbolic items themselves, rather than the photos. luck

Hi all

This 'symbols or pictures' conundrum in Chapter 3 seems to crop up a lot. Llwyd's spell is a clue, and it will still be in your inventory.

Click to reveal..
"Your life symbols... restored to fullness by consumption Earth Water Fire Air." It's the symbols themselves that have to be consumed by the elements. That's why, for example, you throw in the metal bird (and not its picture), because it is the symbol of the starling that the captive Branwen taught to speak so it would take a message back to Wales
