I'm in the molgrave village and I've fixed the drum and caught the bat....but I can't set the trap for the leopard. I retrived the fallen hook and put it on the trap, but I can't put the bat on it! Do I have to do something else or is this a game error?

From the WT, "Take the branches right of the ladder and they are automatically placed on the open floor of the trap." Did you do that? :wave12:

I can click on the branches but it won't let me do anything with them... I've also tried putting the bat on the hook with and without the trap doors open.

Have you tried clicking different spots of the branches? The WT says, they are automatically placed on the open floor of the trap.

I've tried that but it dosen't do anything. I have three hotspots; the lever,the branches, and the string with the hook. In my inventory I've the bat,coconuts, spear, lighter, and various paper documents.

Be sure that the Prince has explained how to catch the leopard.

Are you placing the bat at the correct hook?

If I remember correctly - it is that thing hanging on the branch.

You mean the string hanging down from the branch right? Yes I've tried it there. I can't talk to the prince or the guru but I can talk to major goodmorning about the leopard trap. All he says though is "Few leopards can resist the taste of a bat, you can scare one by making alot of noise, and the prince owns a falcon who can catch one." I can also talk to the angler about the molgrave but all he says is "no speak".

You attach the bat on the hook that is hanging on that string.
Then you use the lever to cover the trap under it.
Try again to place the bat on the hook.

Woohoo! I got it. What I did was go back to a previous saved game and played all the way through to the trap bit. Thanks for all your advice!!
