I have the ball Dorko turned into crystal. I talked with her about everything. I can't put the crystal ball on the pedestal in the bedroom. The ball has a red circle with a line across it when I try. I also have the gauntlet. What have I done wrong this time??

Pamvan,

If you're following the WT, can you tell me exactly where you are? wave

I'm in the castle, have doublechecked the WT and have accomplished everything up to placing the crystal ball back on the pedestal in Dracula's bedroom--on the printout, page 5 of 8, paragraph just above the picture on the zodiac disk.

Pamvan,

I don't remember much about this game. By any chance is there more than one pedestal? think

pamvan, did you actually see the cutscene with Dorko turning the ball to crystal? It should now be clear, rather than red-black.

This game is long time ago, so memory is rusty.
I think that you have to examine that pedestal and that mirror first.
Then see if a different approach to that stand would work.
I vaguely remember that you have to approach while facing a wall. luck

Yes, the ball is clear now after the cutscene. I don't think there is another pedestal anywhere. The WT specifically says to put it back on the pedestal. I've tried to go around to another side of the pedestal, but cannot access the top where the ball should be from any other angle. I've opened the drawer of the pedestal to see the zodiac cards and have looked at the broken mirror on the zodiac disk on the wall. The WT says to go to the bedroom & place theball on the pedestal, then to move to the right to get a look cursor. However, I don't see any other way to place the ball on the pedestal than to move to the right in the first place. I know this is an old game, but I hope someone remembers about this.
Thanks for all your efforts so far.

Did you get the picture and the gem from the trunk, and did you place the picture on the wall, opposite the pedestal?

Finally! I realized that I hadn't taken the picture from the trunk. Good grief.
Thanks, everyone, for your help and patience!
