Hi all!

I don't know whether this is a bug or am I just plain dumb. Sydelle has been over to talk and agreed to help distract the guard at the warehouse. But when I go there she's missing, only the guards are there. Have been all over the place 4 times, talked to everyone and looked at everything.

Hi Chiffa, to GameBoomers.

I took a peek at the walkthrough, and it doesn't make any mention of there being guards at this location, at this point in the game. Are you at the correct building?

From the walkthrough: Leave your house and take the right path at the fork to the town square. The warehouse is the building left of the statue and library.

Enter the warehouse and you should immediately see Sydelle talking to the warehouse boss.

I saw the post earlier but only have time at the mo to peek now & again! Just to add to Rushes reply: from what I can remember it is only the warehouse boss who prevents you from going further into the warehouse, he is located up & to the right inside & you only need to get past him. If Sydelle has agreed to distract him hopefully if you see her with him just go straight past further into the warehouse - if she is not with him I will have a look at that part of the game as there will be something you have missed but I probably won't have time for a couple of days - sorry! :smile12:

When I went to the warehouse she was there and she distracted the guard while I looked around and gathered a few things. Read the walkthrough and see if you missed anything. I used the walkthrough verbatim and it worked for me.

I meant the boss. I know what is supposed to be there (i.e. Sydelle talking to the boss). But she's not.

She dosen't talk to the boss. He has to get past when she is talking to him. When the boss looks to the right you can pass. Listen to the whole conversation first. It takes a little while.

sorry, I've just got a bit tired of saying the same thing all over again. I've read both walkthroughs and searched the whole forum and the web in general. I'm not that stupid.

Hi Chiffa, I've got your save but can't load it as it was saved 'using an engine with a different colour depth'.

My operating system is Windows XP - can you let me know what yours is & what settings you've used as I might be able to adapt except if you are using Vista.

If you are using Vista I won't be able to load your save, in which case can you list what is in your inventory & what 'thoughts' you have. It's just going to be one small thing missing - I'm sure we will find it! :smile12:

It is difficult to help another gamer not knowing what she-he has done in the game or if it is a technical glitch. The description by the gamer are sometimes not enough to know or the problem is difficult to pinpoint.

Remember that help is given to you by volunteers and they took the time to answer. Please be courteous to the ones that do help.

I'm sorry but there is no way I can load your save! Can you list what's in your inventory & thoughts & what you did just before Sydelle knocks on the door & agrees to help?

Sorry to stack but I've found a way of loading the save! Chiffa, hopefully I'll either be back later or tomorrow! :smile12:

EDIT: I've done my best here but I can't relate your save to being stuck getting into the warehouse. Your save loads at the receptionists office - from there you use the special abilities thoughts on the computer to get the first part of the password, then you go on to Henry's apartment & talk to him completely then go back to Jason's house to pick up a new assignment etc etc etc! I'm really sorry Chiffa but if I carry on I will be writing out about a page of walkthrough - perhaps you made a mistake with the save you sent me? You need to do a lot more before getting into the warehouse - picking up some books is a good start! :smile12:

I had some problems with this until I realised that I had not been through all of the conversation with Sydelle. Once I did this I could get into the warehouse, I also thought I would find her outside the warehouse in fact she is inside.

However now is my turn:=
Does anyone know how to access the Computer in the directors office, I have resorted to using the walkthrough to check the password but it still does not work.

The savegame's seem to have got messed around. I've sent you all my savegames. The key one is the top left in the load menu.

Hi Chiffa, you've sent me a rar. file which I can't open without having to download a programme to do so.

Please can you help me to help you by working out yourself which save is relevant to the part where you are stuck & just send me that one! :smile12:

Hi Chiffa, I've spent about an hour playing from your save & I can't find anything missing but I did encounter a bug. An 'old' assignment that you've already picked up & used earlier reappears on Jason's table, you get the nice 'zing' sound when you pick it up again but it stays on the table so it's possibly down to a bug that Sydelle doesn't appear in the warehouse.

I'm surprised as I didn't encounter any problems - where did you get the game?

I can send you a save from just before going to the warehouse but you would have to alter your settings to continue playing - even then it might not work. Would you like to try the save? :smile12:

I have solved it somehow by reseting the PC time and using a different password. The latest time seems to be the problem.
