I received this email yesterday about downloading the demo http://EnterTheStory.com - along with a load of screen shots and a free game demo. The full game costs $14.99 (or the equivalent in other currencies), and if you buy it then you get the next TWO games FREE. I've been waiting for this one for a long time ... played the demo, and was a bit disappointed ... couldn't figure out what to do and not much help let me know what you think

Am I correct that if you want the hard copy, you do have to purchase the download also? The paycart will take the ten dollar disc purchase by itself it appears, but elsewhere on the site it says if you want the disc version, it's an additional ten dollars.
Thanks for the news, menahune!

I downloaded the demo & will play it....I will let you know what I think... Thanks, menahune Edit: Unfortunately I won't be buying this one... When I first started the game I got a black screen..Couldn't go back to windows without restarting ...I had to do the compatibility to windows 98 to get it to run <sigh> The graphics are very Bad..Not what I am use to at all... The game does have a help tag on the right side of the screen to help you to learn movement clicks...etc...etc But if your use to doing things a certain way...You will not like this interface... My Opinion:

Looks a little intriguing, but I too would like to know what you get on the disc? Is it just the current episode?
Quantity has a quality all of its own

OK, I give up. How did you guys get out of the sewer? Is there another place to click that I cannot see. I am on the fence about buying it because it is too minimal graphics for me. But the idea of being in great classic stories is very interesting.
Thanks for any help on the demo.

Chrissie, from what you said about the whole game, the graphics are representative of the demo? The figures are "shadows" so to speak?

They have been so far Cissy, & if you look at the screenshots HERE (scroll down) - you can see that it seems to be the style of the game throughout & doesn't promise anything different! It is supposed to be true to the classic novel by Victor Hugo (which is one I've never read!) but I really haven't got far enough into it to say whether it is worth it or not yet, that's if you don't mind the graphics!

Thank you Chrissie for the hints. I will go to the hints forum and check it out. And sorry, Ana. I know the rules about different forums for different subjects.
However, I am passing on this game. It is too shadowy and dingy for my taste.

Seems to be a great historical adventure. Gets in my to-buy list
I'm a real fan of puzzels and games which develop the "thinking" not "shooting" skills.
